Could you not have discussed it on the other thread?
Attention seeker. |

Mine is a more specific point but as the other thread is yours understand why you are upset.

Upset!?
![]() It`s the reason why you didn`t. |

Think this is a weak Derby and he way win by default but I think Carlton House will be a better horse over 10 furlongs and 6/4 is very short considering Treasure Beach finished ahead of him and Native Khan upsides him at Epsom.

The first ever few derbies run over 1ml an 6furls were of poor quality also....but what is also said is get one to beat it....it being the winner.....very hard to get one to beat it.and so the winner will go down in history for the year 2011........the way ApoB places his riders is going to be significant.....CoD has not yet ridden an Irish Derby winner.....what kinda form is the Stoute stable in.at the moment.....any Ascot winner.....?

Weighed it up beforehand and came to the conclusion that he should be forgiven Epsom because of the hold up earlier that week.
Absolutely no excuses today. He just didn`t look good enough. |
|
By:
Kinane was spot on. He said Carlton house looked very well but didn't stay the trip at Epsom.
|
|
By:
I am not of the opinion he didn't stay, i just think he was massivly overrated and is simply not good enough
|

By:
Well he wasn`t good enough on Sunday pf but I don`t know how you could say he`s massively overrated. Overhyped yes, but take these 2 lines of form. The Dante where he beat Seville comfortably despite not settling. 4 lengths back in 3rd was Pisco Sour. He then beat Slumber at Ascot, who was unlucky to not get closer than 3 lengths 3rd to Treasure Beach in the Chester Vase. Based on both those pieces of form he was entitled to be better than he showed on Sunday imo.
I`ve never known a Ballydoyle horse to improve as much from 2 to 3 as TB! Nathaniel who was 2nd there, and racing on ground faster than ideal, has probably good claims to be the best of them now. |
