is there a breeze? |
By:
Yes but they are just sh!te.

Kavvie.........no segregation all in the one door.......I'm sure many Dubs will be complaining having to travel to a match.
By:
Dublin are no great shakes and Galway could get back into this fairly quickly........took the 7/2 halftime and + 4 halftime........I expect a fightback.
By:
red card in your favour
dublin will be on the rack for the last 10 |
By:
galway might have blown it here with the wides
By:
Galway are turgid at both codes.
By:
Galway were very poor and didn't deserve to get anything out of that game..............Well done to the Dubs they work well as a unit..........great scenes after the match with the fans......fair play to the goalie for signing all the autographs for the kids after the match.........GAA in the capital is flying at the moment.

Great performance by Dublin last night. When Brady went off everybody feared the worst but this team is a serious piece of work now.
Great atmosphere in the ground. The sod is a credit to Offaly, some pitch. Garda Siochana need tot take a good look at their traffic management strategies. Brain dead effort last night. |

Don't agree TF, Galway won so much ball and blew chance after chance. Galway are a pathetic outfit and still could and should have won that game if they had a leader. a rudderless team. Dublin are a little better than average.
By:
Wexford would have taken Dublin last night.......Galway were awful last night and with 7 or 8 minutes to go were still in with a shout.........on another night Galway might have got a few late goals..........Dublin are improving but are a few points shy of 4 or 5 other teams.

Galway do have a leader but he's had very little hurling and had a bad day.
Dublin have only lost once in 2011. They are in the top tier now. Their strength and fitness is something to see and they've a real hunger to win. Daly and his management team have done great work. U21's V Offaly in Parnell Park Thursday evening 7.30. |

By:
lol Gant. Didn't you see Wexfords performance against Kilkenny last week.
By:
Daly and his team have created a fit well drilled team and in time will get the natural cuteness the big teams have.
By:
I did Tony and they would have beaten Galway on that performance.
By:
Agree with you. Need to be a bit more savvy but we'll get there. GAA flying here at present like you said.
By:
Sorry you said Wexford would have beaten Dublin - you meant Galway.

Think the question is are Galway as bad as they looked of did Dublin make them look that bad. I was very taken by the workrate of this Dublin team and how they were able to keep it going for the full 70 minutes. One worry I would have is they were way superior to Galway yet Galway were still in the game 10 minutes from time. If they had been able to create and take a few goal chances it would have been over a lot earlier.

I am a massive fan of the Dublin hurling set up and the hard graft put into it behind the scenes.

By:
Def need goals Santry. Tipp would have been beaten today only for the quick goals in the 1st half.
By:
Kilkenny will rip dublin a new one...
By:
Yes they are very strong. Fennelly is brilliant and Sheff is back so just the cats should probably get a win over Dublin this year at last. 0/3 so far. If Dublin get within 10 points of them they'll be doing well.
