I read in todays RP that a high draw in the 6F sprint was considered a drawback to be overcome while in the same publication on Sunday 28th May a high draw was considered a good draw. The stalls are in the same position. Do people actually get paid for presenting this information?

Can you explain?

Firstly Sunday was the 28th.

Secondly Leopardstown was on and now we have the Curragh.

Why was the Curragh discussed on Sunday?

was not the 28th I meant, so did you mean Saturday?

Sorry I meant Sunday 22nd May. The Spotlights were done by two different journalists. Clearly one knows his stuff whereas the other may not have done sufficient homework.

Last year a low draw up against the stand side rails was generally the place to be in sprints but since we have now come in line with the rest of europe on the draw its high numbers on the stand side rail so I am guessing that Mr Flemming has not realised this.

Who was the other journalist? My papers get binned the day after they are read.

Spot on Murphy's. A shocking oversight imvho for a professional paid to present facts.

Just to confirm: Queenie Keen drawn 25 on Stands Side merited a spotlight comment and I quote "drawn wide not ideal" Oh dear.

Yeah its pretty poor stuff all right observ considering 3 of the 4 placed were drawn high and could have put people off these horses.Roicead ran a cracker from 7.
