This has put it up to all the other Irish national teams in all the other sports. We've had some serious let downs in team sports of late but Rugby, Cricket and Soccer seem to bucking the trend and flying the Irish flag.

Well if Eng were in it may get more attention - i think it has been rather disappointing overall personally
Wales - NI playin for the most part their reserve teams. At least the Scots and us made some effort And maybe if they held 2 matches an evening/night it may boost the attendances?? I dunno... Anyway wd Ireland, a win is a win anyway ![]() |

It should have been 2 matches a night BJG but that would have made sense and we all know the FAI don't like that.

Scoring 9 goals without reply in 3 International games is very encouraging indeed. Thought we sat back too much for the last 25 mins, totally panicked in defence and hardly kept the ball on the ground. Cox looked strong and skillful, and Given is still a great goalie.
