adilapour is my selection in this tricky race ....i think this fellow is on the up grade and his attitude in a battle is first class ...i can see him running a massive race and at the 6.8 on here is worth a bet ....off golfing tomorrow so wont get to go to the curragh...as an aside i like the look of campanoligst and fancy him for a place @ 2.8. i know he has only won a few poor groups 1s in germany and italy i still think he will finish second to so you think...famous name is a very good horse in his own right but i dont think he's top class so may struggle in this company...god luck all ....hope the word fore is not used to much by me tomorrow..
There has been a few poor renewals of the Tattersalls Gold Cup and todays has to be up there with the worst of them, as the prices suggests it looks a penalty kick, wouldn't surprise if the fav returned at 2/11?. Camponoligist's well beaten 4th to Dandino suggests he might even struggle to fill the runner up birth, those group 1's he won in Germany and Italy are sometimes no stronger than an average Group 2 or Group 3 even?.
I think Famous Name will grab 2nd, probably only a group 2 performer at best these days?, but is in better form than Camponoligist, but should be remembered he was able to cut the mustard at Group 1 level as his very unlucky French Derby run proves and has other Group 1 places to his name in 2008 & 2009. The other two runners don't deserve a mention.
I have a sneaky feeling for one in the 30 runner 6f cavalry charge, the horse was given a nice easy introduction at Naas recently and some of his best form would give him a very good chance today, beat recent Curragh winner Blue Dahlia comfortably last season, has been drawn slap bang in the middle in 15 so jockey will almost certainly tack on to the stand side group if they split?. Bank on Black is the name of the horse and Keegan Latham rides so at the current 25/1 certainly worth an ew wager. Of course with these big fields luck in running can sometimes be key, and also you/re taking the chance the horse is off?, interesting to see if there is any early market nibbles for him?. McCreery's are often backed when they are fancied.

2.10 Miss Eze e/w at 25/1 and will have some at Betfair sp too as twill be much bigger]
Started hitting form around this time last year in late May/early June
Down to a mark of 78 is very interesting for me in this - a winner at Galway last summer off 79
And also ran a stormer in a Premier Handicap here over CD in September off a 6lb higher mark of 84 when finishing a close 5th beaten just over 1l
At 25/1 e/w is definitely worth an e/w play for me here

Absoutely pissed down but and i live a stone throw from the course but their is a strong win that looks to be coming from the west so blowing up the straight and has dried out my concrete patio. I say the ground will be perfect and have just taken the sting out of it. Altho cloudy over head

Disgrace, probably leaving it at that price for most of the price taking small multiples like L 15's and Yankees, the majority of which are put on well before racing starts, fleecing the naive, unless they offer best price all multiples?.

I like Emiyna too and think she's a fair price now.
Also hoping for a good run from the Wachman fillies; Chrysanthemum and Sapphire Pendant
Think the 1000 looks a strong race actually. Could fire a few darts and still miss.

Also backed Adilapour in the 2.40, step back up to 10f should be fine and hopefully be ridden more positevly like last time rather than how he was in the Ballysax
