On another thread here, it was alluded to that the owners weren't pleased with the ride the last day.

he gave it a bad ride that day,sum people on here were saying there was nothing wrong with it as he was looking after her, personally i thought it was brutal.

Frans confidence must be at an all time low now

Noel O Callaghan is not one to stand on ceremony if he feels ' let down' by his trainers/jockeys . Has been known to pay surprise visits to his trainers to check that everything is in order and no matter how successful they are for him , not use them again if he feels that he has been taken advantage of and/or overcharged for services rendered.

He owns the davenport hotel who recently had the highly publicised legal dispute ref the chambermaids that were illegaly put on the new minimum wage rate-it was meant to be  for new staff only.

I am no fan of Berry but he did nothing wrong that day,she was as green as grass.

Remember Alexandra wasn't going to be winning after a furlong the last day so there wasn't much point in Fran killing her to try and get to Power. He had a choice make before halfway about whether to sit her in behind horses and get her settled or track out wide for a solo. He stayed in which was the right decision in my mine because she'd have learned a lot more. He didn't get the splits when starting a move and then had to switch out. Happens at every meeting at the curragh especially in maidens. Feel he's been hard done by personally because she looks to be potentially Group class at least to my mind.

just viewed it.id say fran hard done by.what could he have done different?he was never going to get to the winner.the horse was as green as grass.the prob today is taking the 4/5 will the apob yard have a better one than power in it?will the ground be the same?..id rather wait for a softer maiden to back one at that price...

There is obviously a potential danger with all the newcomers kavvie especially those from the Coolmore axis. However having had a quick scan through their pedigrees most of them look to be more long term projects as opposed to 6f debut maiden winners on good ground. Jim Bolgers looks sharpish type alrite though not exactly a blue blood. The price is skimpy but i'd be suprised if she doesn't collect.

Same type of performance again, did it's best to miss the break and Johnny had to use up energy to hold it's place,Smullen did him no favours either in the race.

Temperament suspect again, might settle better in time.
