I had this paper on order for a while then I cancelled it then I felt I was missing something so I ordered it again, funnily enough I went in today and told the newsagent to cancel it. It was an interesting read sometimes but it only came of a thursday and @3.90 I think its not worth it. Another reason why I've stopped is because of two Nick Mordin pieces, The first was making a case against FRANKEL by using Racing Post Ratings(which at the end of the day is only an opinion of a handicap mark) as a case for going against him(no problem with anyone laying Frankel but his case was complete bollocks). The second piece was about how horses who hang do well at Epsom. No logical thinking could agree with that imo. Its not a bad paper but it arrives in my part of the country one day late so I've given up on it. Now I must settle down and read my last(hopefully) Racing Post Weekender

Anything interesting Murtagh had to say WR?

I read it online from time to time which eliminates the one day late problem.

i get it too, wouldnt be interested in what they are tipping
some of the columnists are ok, stable tours sometimes from smaller trainers that havent been in the post, reports from poinht to points as well, and i like the form/cards layout. mordin is a bit off the wall at times but some of his articles are good, admit some are complete tripe as well, mainly only get it on thursday which really is poor distribution on their part, at times ive wondered whether to bother getting it but i end up getting it |

The Prophet did include a selection at 2/5 that week, but he also advised a 4/1 winner (deadheated) from his three bets in total. A short price selection from him is quite unusual, however. Of course it is worth bearing in mind that these writers submit their columns before a lot of the decs (and markets) are formed.
The column in question is actually over 28pts in profit this flat season, a yield of 109%! I doubt their are many columns showing that sort of return of turnover this season? Extremely small sample obviously, but not a tipster to slag and nor is the product in general, a thoroughly worthwhile weekly read in my opinion. |
