In keeping with what is a hilarious thread on the horse-racing forum, any Irish stories to share?

I'll start with mentioning a bookies on Dublin's Southside...snug in the pub next door was/is alledgedly [!] the meeting spot for the local INLA...

The same "alledged" fellas would come into the bookies - full o' steam - and kick off at the staff [safely behind the perspex screen] when their pony bets on the BAGS jolly hit the dirt...

To be honest worst thread ever on this forum, would not mind if it was humorous in someway. However what could you expect with the opening story from this forum's Ken Dodd.

Parnell Street and William St in Limerick, there are hundreds. Riugh as fcuk, u could get anything in a betting shop, a golden triangle of ****. I'm in the process of making a documentary focussing on a few of the central characters. Its going to be called 'This is Limerick 2011'. Working title.
