Not really but you are right in so far as 'white' was part of the owners colours...prominent then but not so prominent now..
Kavvie.....[;)] correct...in so far as I know..and it was at Leopardstown..he was on a hotpot ..who was a big big drifter in SHEIK MO's colours when the heavens opened and ruined his swansong...ran poorly...Yesterdays Racing Post's article about DKW reminded me of this...However WildmanfromBorneo might know better and may correct me...though I think I am right
Midsummer Gamble Christmas 1987(?) - T Walsh and JP Dempsey tried to "sew him up" before the straight - he was much more crafty than them and then issued a statement to the press to say that "raceriding was much more fair when he was at the top" or words to that effect
