Hills were 8/15 earlier, mainly arbers and office money in the market so far I'd say.

I make KK 4/7
Report Wankurballs April 29, 2011 11:02 PM BST
dublin + final = choke
Report neill d April 29, 2011 11:39 PM BST
Cats could be ready to give Dublin a good slap here I think.
Report Anyska April 30, 2011 12:00 AM BST
fancy the dubs but are due a bad one and the cats due a good one. the cats 13+pts at 23/1 at billy hills. even daly might have a few quid on that one.

KK slightly weakened  sting is still arguably better then any side in the country bar Tipp. Both Talant and experience in abundance.

Team to play Dublin

David Herity, John Dalton, Brian Hogan, Noel Hickey, Paddy Hogan, Jackie Tyrrell, JJ Delaney, TJ Reid, Michael Rice, James 'Cha' Fitzpatrick, Mathew Ruth, Eoin Larkin, Colin Fennelly, Eddie Brennan, Richie Hogan
Report timberman April 30, 2011 11:15 AM BST
how many played in last years all ireland final?
Report GANT007 April 30, 2011 11:16 AM BST
Even missing 4 or 5 regulars.........I still fancy the Cats.
Report Toto82 April 30, 2011 11:21 AM BST
"office money"

What do you mean by this?
Report squigs April 30, 2011 11:30 AM BST
John Dalton, Noel Hickey, Jackie Tyrrell, J.J. Delaney, 'Cha' Fitzpatrick, TJ Reid, Eoin Larkin, Eddie Brennan, Richard Power and King Henry would have played. So 9 of them played and barring injury you would have 10 of them. Richie Hogan is an exceptional player as well and I think should have played.

They could hammer the Dubs.

still cats missing 5 and dublin with the additions of conal keaney & ryan dwyer in particular need to get a result id have thought
Report squigs April 30, 2011 2:01 PM BST
A league final is no shame for Dublin, if they get beaten today the league campaign still shows progress. Also Killkenny missing 5 but their replacements are better players then Dublins starting xv.

The return of Alan McCrabbe and Boland is a huge physcological boost for the Dubs. Although I think Kilkenny will win I expect Dublin to give them a good aul rattle. The Cats to win by few 'whiskas'. Great for Leinster hurling!
Report Cupwinkcook May 1, 2011 1:57 PM BST
office money - firms taking money at 9/4 the dubs and 11/1 the draw and getting better prices on here
Report Cupwinkcook May 1, 2011 2:31 PM BST
galway running riot here with the wind admittedly

think cavan will close the gap in the 2nd half but I doubt they'll catch them

Jesus Christ who is that KK No 2 ?  If he did that on the street he'd get 6 months!
Report tobywong. May 1, 2011 4:52 PM BST
dalton will get at least 6 months for that , disgraceful stuff , kk could have been down to 12 men as hogan had a sly elbow earlier , they certainly don't like it up em as they say

wd dublin, bring on the leinster championship. kilkenny will want their main men back fast.
Report MayoMan May 1, 2011 6:02 PM BST
Well Done to dublin. Hopefully they can carry that form into Leinster now.
Report timberman May 1, 2011 6:20 PM BST
The confidence of todays victory is worth everything heading into leinster championship but it must have been the poorest kilkenny performance in the past 15 if not 20 years!
Report New Approach May 1, 2011 7:11 PM BST
Dublin still 12/1 for Leinster glory with B 365 for anyone interested.
Report Distant View May 1, 2011 8:09 PM BST
Stan James had then at 12s during the game.

They would only allow €46 on at the price but I took it along with a few others.

They have now voided it and said that the market was left open in error after the match had started.

What a shower of jokers and if they think they can get away with this, the betting game is a farce.
Report kiddo112 May 1, 2011 8:10 PM BST
PP most unimpressed by KK - stand out 8/13 for Leinster & 2/1 Outright

Could be an over reaction considering KK played with 14 from 25th min, and this was Dublin's "cup final".

2/5 for Tipp & KK coupled looks like an SSIA
Report New Approach May 1, 2011 8:26 PM BST
I placed a bet with 365 about an hour ago on Dublin for Leinster. They're still showing 12/1 on their site. Do you think they could still void it?
Report Distant View May 1, 2011 8:34 PM BST
No

The championship has not started. It is up to their odds compilers to update this separate market in light of events in another tournament.

What SJ has done is reprehensible.
Report mike hunt May 1, 2011 8:57 PM BST
B365 have just shortened the price to 6's as you do... SJ engaging in mind boggling antic by voiding bets - are they a bookies or a charity house?
Report kiddo112 May 1, 2011 9:12 PM BST
This would be true to form of SJ (leaving market open). I was looking at prices for Setanta Cup couple of months ago. Dundalk had already knocked out Linfield, and Lisburn D had knocked out UCD iirc. Anyways I called into the SJ in Phibsboro, as the online market still had these teams in. Asked for updated prices and after getting blank faces and then explaining the situation, I asked if they could contact head office to get market updated. This was responded to with a chuckle, and "I doubt this market is high on their list of priorities". Market was updated over a week later.

Agree that it is not on, but following my experience, I have stayed away from SJ for antepost bets.
Report Distant View May 2, 2011 9:31 AM BST
Stan James have reversed the decision and are honouring the bet mike.

Best display I've ever seen from a Dublin senior hurling team.

Team going well so far.

Niall Corcoran had a brilliant game at corner back.

Makes up for last weeks farce.

PS WTF was Michael Wadding doing blowing the whistle at that point of the first half.

It took a Tipperary man to do it for you but well done The Dubs also am i the only one to feel Kilkenny let themselves down,Dalton and Larkin the main culprits.
Report Distant View May 2, 2011 9:32 PM BST
Tipperary?
Report timberman May 2, 2011 9:39 PM BST
ryan dwyer i reckon but lots of counties had a import over the years..tipp had conor o donovan from limerick full back..mossie carroll was another but sure what about it as long as counties have plenty of their own...
Report Tony Fenton May 3, 2011 11:45 AM BST
O'Dwyer has been a great addition. And there are others Corcoran Galway, O'Brien Limerick. However to have just 3 from the 27 is good going.

Conal Keaney has been a huge addition. Delighted to see him getting some reward so early into his 2nd spell in senior inter county hurling.

Brilliant to see McCrabbe back in the jersey again, very clever hurler.
