Louth have no chance judging on that game the other day, between Dublin and Kildare and 5/4 is more than fair imo, you will die of starvation backing counties like Louth to take provincial honours, it only happens in poor years standard wise and there are possibly 4 good teams in Leinster this season.

throw up 1000.0 into the mkt then pal if you think they have no chance...

regardless of the relative strengths of the counties, the draw has a big effect this year in Leinster and people should bet accordingly

4 good teams in Leinster If you amalgamated all the counties in Leinster you might...just might get one good team...It's a brutal province. AN LU ABU.

Back them in each of their games and you get a similar price at the end if not better. You shouldn't tie your money up in this.

The price isn't that brilliant in previous years you could get 6/4 on the Dubs in the days when Leinster was piss easy to win and the Dubs won 5 Leinster titles in a row. This is harder, they have Longford/Laois both teams are off the back of strong league campaigns and are much improved. Neill D said 5/4 is good value and then said there are 4 good teams in Leinster which I agree with but would surely make 5/4 not so great a price. 

Just say Dublin get the three best teams they could be drawn against. I could see the bookies going,

Dublin v Laois   Dubs 1/4
Dublin v Kildare Dubs 1/2
Dublin v Louth   Dubs 1/3

you would get 6/4 for that.

Any injury to Bernard Brogan and Dublin are in big trouble and would struggle against Louth and I don't think they would beat a Kildare who can match them for workrate. Also Meath slaughtered them last year, absolutely hammered them.

I'm no Dubs fan, and I know this isn't too bold a prediction, but they will absolutely scalp Louth if they play them. Dublin and Kildare (won't be a fitter team in the championship.) are two talented teams and Laois andd especially Meath, while soft,have a lot of talented players. I'd put all of these well in front of Louth. Steeringjob, if I had the reserves I would.

Sorry I meant good in the context of a Leinster Championship, normally the competition is dire.

Think your correct in pricing the Dubs Vs (Laois/Kildare) matches but 1/3 to beat Louth in a Leinster final, be closer to 1/7 outright. Think your getting better value taking the 5/4 myself.

just looked at it there and Louth are no value at 10/1 to win Leinster

They could easily get to the final, and if they do they'll still be 5/1+ to win it at that stage.

Lay it, are Louth in danger of being overhyped, never thought I'd see the day.

Dublin still 6/1 with beat 365 for the Leinster final.
