Once the KING of Fairyhouse but now seems to find it difficult to get a winner...can he turn things around some bit at his local track over the Easter?....can any one put up a few of his that should have a decent shout at the festival?...i'm struggling to do so ,aside from maybe some unknown in a bumper all I can say is Jetson if he turns out in a maiden hurdle and Perfect Smile who the trainer seemed to give a great chance to in Aintree, doh was never competitive there , but maybe it got a run there to have it it ready for Fairyhouse..

Realt Dubh should give Noble Prince a race based on his Arkle run. Although I doubt he`ll want the ground this good.

I think the stable is finished, horse numbers way down, owners way down,Gillian OBrien gone, the head lad seems to be moonlighting as a trainer,a light of better days.

Gillian OBrien was a good trainer when she was based in Golden, she gave up that career to move in with Meade and was an integral part of the operation. When she left she moved to Jessica Harrington and took some owners with her,i think she has since moved on.

Realt Dubh diddn't run too badly in the Arkle on quick ground - I felt at the time when Captain Chris and Finians Rainbow went for home at the top of the straight, he just hadn't the speed to go with them.

Wildman.......Gillian bailing out was a big loss to the yard.........80% of Noels owners were involved in the building game.

Agree GANT007 sadly another contributing factor.I dont think he has lost his talent its just a combination of circumstances also Gordon Elliot is doing so well any new owner will head for Capranny.

Noel is a fine trainer but had the luxury of big owners and expensive horses.....all earned of course..... Gordon would have the same client base from his point to point days plus a few bigger owners joining in after the winners started to flow...I hear Gordon could have a few more big profile owners next season.......So much for the english poster called orchardist stating big owners will not send horses to Gordon as the yard is not up to scratch.

I have a feeling that Gordon Elliot is going to train a lot more flat horses it seems a natural progression.

Not a hope at this moment in time.........you want 40 guaranteed yearlings from a big player to be able to compete on the flat at a high level.

I meant more like Noel Meade a jumps trainer but having some extra flat horses not two year olds.

Rubyisgodinthesaddle...Sword of destiny is down for the bumper on Sunday..it does look a fair good race doh and all the good bumper yards are in bar W Mullns..and also meade yard sending 2 to Cork sunday wit tom horn in the bumper wit JP McKeown due to ride and the other Gracchus in a beginners chase...Cork is a fair old trip ...Sword of Destiny would need to be on his toes and needs to be smart 2.............

Getting into a bit of form is Noel but lacking the firepower he once had..Perfect Smile runs 2moro..........
