my 2 against the field are... swing bill 32/1 scotsirish 24/1 i have a feeling both will enjoy these fences ... a small interest of £25 on both ... good luck all...
In an open looking race i'm going with Noel Meade inda first..trainer seems to think a lot of him ..ran well up behind First Liutenant and Zaidpour and not beyond the bounds of possibility that in spite of a stable downturn Noel Meade could have a decent priced winner at a big meeting..jockey in good form..ground may bring improvement..win and place [;)]for me then ..

Ballyholland must have agreat chance. the horse ran great for 2 1/2 miles in last years national(check it out on BBC website, in the inside with the light colours), likes good ground and has dropped in the handicap a few pounds. If this horse is ready to go it should go close.

That is one competitive racecard! I`ll have a nibble at Oilily in the opener but I don`t expect to find many winners. I said to a friend before his reappearance that I`m sure Dev was only getting ready for the Topham, so I can`t desert him now off 10st.

mon parrain for me. only a 5yo but jumped very impressively on his debut in sandown. didnt beat much but very eyecatching and could have a decent handicap mark.

Not having any luck wr. Thought it was a poor ride. Got chopped up turning out of the back. Ran around the whole field and sent it in too soon. 3 2nds and a third since. Pain in my hole.

mon parrain is the best jumper of a fence ive seen in a while. looked like he didnt stay but he won over 3m in sandown last time. i suppose the weight caught him out. he can only get stronger.

Olily would have got a better ride off a 7lb claimer imho, got squashed a bit just before turning in and lost the head completely.
Fair play to the Gigginstown connections with QDLR as the ground appeared to be all against it here.

keyaza is interesting in the mares bumper. impeccably bred by azamour out of key change who won a yorkshire oaks for john oxx. makes her a half sister to pittoni. won on her debut by 12L. can you believe she was bought for only 7,500 back in november. even if she had a few vices she was still some bargain as a broodmare prospect.
