Am i barking mad thinking she has a chance. Wishful Thinking and Medermit had hard races in Cheltenham and were clearly trained to peak for that day. Royal Charm may not stay...Tharawatt is no ball of fire.

This mare was always going to improve considerably for better ground. Her form against Aura about you worked out well, she was giving it a stone (allow for 7llb claimer) and it went on to win a grade 3 nto.

Dessie Hughes horses are flying at the minute and its highly unlikley he'd travel if he didn't think she'd a chance...

Thoughts ?[smiley:crazy]

Dessie Hughes is expecting a decent show from Shirley Casper at Aintree this afternoon in the two and a half miles totepool Manifesto Novices' Chase.
The ten-year-old opened her account over fences at Naas last month but faces a massive step up against six rivals including Medermit and Wishfull Thinking in the Grade 2 contest.

Hughes said: "I think she`ll run a big race. It`s the first time this year she`s had her ground. The ratings don`t look great for her but I don`t mind that. She jumps well, she`ll like the ground and she gets the 7lb mares` allowance."
