A Charity game for autism Ireland and this brave man lays out retired Irish footballer Jason McAteer. After the violence of the weekend Cluxton should be ashamed of himself, he must think he is a real hard man doing what he done in a charity game to a lad who had given up his time to help kids. I believe Cluxton was getting the run around during the match and just lost it for no real reason only he was being embarrassed.

Report moneypenny April 4, 2011 1:15 PM BST
You should try reading the papers
Report wildmanfromborneo April 4, 2011 1:17 PM BST

I think machismo was the word Rocketfingers was looking for.
Report Rocketfingers April 4, 2011 1:32 PM BST
Sorry lads having some real issues with the new machine and this ultra modern predictive writing (turned off now)

Ok so obviously i meant Machoisim, obviously there was no need for this show and getting sent off in a charity match. Who would want to bring their kids to watch this again Cluxton as it said in the Star "lashed out".
Report neill d April 4, 2011 1:47 PM BST
Theres your problem there, tabloid media, though the Indo aint much better
Report Rocketfingers April 4, 2011 1:50 PM BST
Indo is every bit as bad as the tabloids. just got Indo, RP and Star ad Star only one with a mention of it and then made contact with my mole army and found out further info.

How is it a cheap dig gantoo? You think Cluxton's behaviour is acceptable? You think it is alright to do what he done, cheap way of getting some media time !
Report freddiek April 4, 2011 2:11 PM BST
So what if it was real??

McAteer always has it coming anyway, annoying pr!ck he is
Report Rocketfingers April 4, 2011 2:22 PM BST
Because it's a charity event thats the why, would Cluxton raise money for charity in another country doubt it. This is simply thugish behaviour, a cheap shot my Cluxton in full views of cameras for maximun exposure. He is an big man and a proper animal, violence has no place on field of play. He was doing enough crying about violence with Aussies were beating them from pillar to post, then he does this himself agaisnt a guy who was a skinny winger?
Report irishro April 4, 2011 2:51 PM BST
I'd like to see these quotes you got from Cluxton about him crying about the Aussies??
It's also very unfair to be on a forum claiming Cluxton would not get involved in a charity event because it's in another country.
Report neill d April 4, 2011 2:57 PM BST
Think he means he wouldn't be a draw
Report irishro April 4, 2011 2:58 PM BST
Hard to second guess what that clown means-you probably gave him a way out of it now Devil

Good man Rf.
Your mole appears to be all knowledgeable. Maybe he could help you out with your understanding of English.
Report coffee_black1 April 4, 2011 8:05 PM BST
judging by mcateer on  newstalk about a half hour ago it was no set up, he sounded properly annoyed at it, was pretty bad ill judgement by cluxton, not showing himself in a good light, especially with so many kids present. hardly setting a good example
Report Giant Strides April 4, 2011 8:17 PM BST
I heard that. MacAteer not totally forthcoming with an explanation of events though.

Park the GAA thing for a moment.
I just realised Cluxton is a science teacher (at my old school!). Not going all pc but to be fair to Rf (grudgingly!), it is definitely not behaviour becoming of a high profile person who is expected be a role model in his everyday life and in society.
A fair comparison would be that of Rooney on Saturday. Not unexpected from an uneducated runt.
Cluxton is obviously of far higher intellect but possibly has some anger management issues like the aforementioned Scouser!

Mc Ateers carry on yesterday in Carlow deserved another thump by all accounts.
Report Rocketfingers April 18, 2011 8:59 PM BST
