Awful decision.

He's bred for 3miles and fences, doubt he'll ever jump a fence though.

He seemed to travel well enough last two runs and wasn't as keen as last year so who knows?,worth a shot imo.

If i had him i would run him on the flat.

Baby steps. The logical race would be the 2 and a half miler at Fairyhouse but his connections don`t do logic!

They need to forget the hype and realise he is not as good as they thought.

He has won €151,000 over the jumps, €140,000 on the flat.  He won a 2mile 2furlong on heavy ground.

Ya can't dispute he is gonna keep on winning races, its just that it might be at a lower level, with Quevega only appearing in spring, the staying hurdling ,division in Ireland is ripe pickings, 543 gone, wouldn't fear Mourad, more prizemoney awaits

If he doesn't run well at Punchestown, they'll have no option but to go over fences.

Stevie Wonder could tell you the horse needs SOFT ground to show it's best.....Look at it's record on SOFT or worst ground FFS.

Nice to see the trainer getting a nice winner for the Gigginstown crew yesterday in Limerick.

Dunguib has suffered a leg injury and will miss all of the 2011-12 season, according to trainer Philip Fenton said on Tuesday: "Unfortunately, Dunguib has developed some heat in a front leg. He won't be running this coming season." A ten-length winner of the Weatherbys Champion Bumper at the 2009 Cheltenham  Festival, Dunguib was last seen finishing eighth in the Stan James Champion Hurdle.

The eight-year-old had been due to take on Quevega in Thursday's Grade 1 Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle at Punchestown.Fenton.

May be the finishing of this horse.

Disappointing for connections.

That could be that in terms of graded races anyway, shame, at least connections won plenty of prizemoney, though I believe they rejected a big offer from JP or was it O'Leary. That bumper has turned out a good race with lots of talented horses, but apart from Right of Passage, they have all to an extent turned out lind of dissapointing despite winning graded races, I mean the likes of Shinrock Paddy, Quel Esprit and Morning Supreme.
