Dunguib has suffered a leg injury and will miss all of the 2011-12 season, according to trainer Philip Fenton said on Tuesday: "Unfortunately, Dunguib has developed some heat in a front leg. He won't be running this coming season." A ten-length winner of the Weatherbys Champion Bumper at the 2009 Cheltenham Festival, Dunguib was last seen finishing eighth in the Stan James Champion Hurdle.
The eight-year-old had been due to take on Quevega in Thursday's Grade 1 Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle at Punchestown.Fenton.

That could be that in terms of graded races anyway, shame, at least connections won plenty of prizemoney, though I believe they rejected a big offer from JP or was it O'Leary. That bumper has turned out a good race with lots of talented horses, but apart from Right of Passage, they have all to an extent turned out lind of dissapointing despite winning graded races, I mean the likes of Shinrock Paddy, Quel Esprit and Morning Supreme.
