Very sad when someone loses their life. These lads should stick to the fuel smuggling and drug dealing. Worst of all the British Army/loyalist gangs will seek revenge.
By:
B allocks, Gant, worst of all a young lad lost his life today.
By:
that's what I said....what are you on about?.
By:
Very sorry, Gant, theirs plenty of cretins on this forum, and you,sir are definitely not one of them.
Just that nothing in ages has enraged me as much as this senseless killing; no excuse for taking it out on you. Btw, I think the PSNI officer was a Catholic, and as most of the truly scummy loyalists reckon the only good Taig is a dead Taig, I cant see them bothering with retaliation. Again apologies. |
By:
No problem.....These cowards will only target Catholic psni officers as they fear local drug dealing and criminality will be exposed by people living in their strongholds.
By:
i hope the relatives of the bomber meet a sorrowful end, what goes around comes around, horrible scummy criminals.
The bomber will rot in hell. |
By:
Bastard dinosaurs.
Ribarello, I'm very annoyed by your second paragraph. |
By:
Sorry for my slight swear Ribarello, you seem a bigoted bastard as well.
By:
What in particular bothers you Ovalman? My use of the word taig was not intended to be bigoted, more representative of a mindset. I'm a Catholic myself fwiw.
By:
I was wondering about this all day and it announced it was Ronan Kerr who was killed. He was a few years older than me at school
![]() He had been threatened in the past but it did not put him of and now he has paid with his life. Coward scumbag bastards |
By:
"Truly scummy loyalists" sort of got me.
Yes I'm a loyalist. |
By:
cowardly gutless bastards
By:
only the scummy ones, Ovalman, the sort who have a reflexive anti-Catholic bigotry, supplemented with a sneaking regard of violence. Not you or any decent unionists/loyalists; you're perfectly entitled to your worldview.
I was very surprised by your post, as a bigot is the last thing I've been called. I completely respect your loyalist traditions, allegiance to Queen and country and your right to remain a part of the UK. IMO Ulster loyalists have had a savagely bad press for years from so-called liberals. Just read recently a book about the 36th Ulster Division, extraordinary men, and I hope you understand the "scummy " part of my thread was directed to those elements of your community whom no one could defend;Lenny Murphy, Basher Bates etc. Of course republicans had more than their share of psychopaths; O'Hare, Mcglinchey etc, etc. Anyway, no offence intended, keyboard warrior shi te isnt my thing no more than I think its yours.Just so sad to see this young lad killed. Peace? |

Very sad

This has nothing to do with religion, the only people pushing that are the British media without any clarification of who did it and of their particular excuse. No doubt this will further help the British and southern Irish to discriminate and sterotype Northern Irish people further.
By:
I hope they get the culprits.
By:
zipifried it has everything to do with religion! A small percentage do not want any progress and catholics joining the policeforce is progress.
By:
He is called to a Grave charge, who is called to Resist the majority. But he will Resist!
By:
winner winner, the Religion aspect is only pushed by the media to cover up what the entire conflict is really about. It can just as easily be reported that Christians are going over in droves to Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and killing Muslims or whatever there particular cult of religion happens to be. People buy this crap and give it validity for no reason. It simply isn't as cut and dry as the killing of a catholic to put others off joining, no group has said this was their aim , it is only the politicians who are making this the only reason and everybody believes it to be fact. This is part of the ongoing problem that will never go away until people wake up to media lies and speculation, in the meantime discrimination and stereotyping of normal people of Northern Ireland continues. ' just a bunch of nutters fighting over religion still' . This is bullsh1t and always has been.

RIP - A brave young man.Killed by cowardly scum.
By:
I am from this area, hell the police even checked my car out as I was waiting on a lift to college yesterday morning, the day of the funeral at the Beragh turn of.
He was threatened to leave a well known nightclub in Omagh not so long ago becasue of what job he done for an example and that is not speculation. Again, I am not buying into any theory but what I believe from seeing myself. He was murdered for being a catholic who joined the policeforce. These people can say No catholic should join a British establishment but they fail to see by people like him joining it, it makes it better for everyone |
By:
Correct, Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.I have no idea what zipifried is talking about and i dont think he does either. For there to be lasting peace and stability in the North the Police force has to be representative and acceptable to both communities and it is certainly moving in that direction.Once that happens its game over for these dissident scumbags who rely on dividing society to further their "cause"
By:
insideinfo you were proved to be a bigot scumbag on here some time ago. Nobody has claimed responsibility for the attack so how can people assume such motives etc, that is just ridiculous and very northern Irish sensationalism. How these things are reported are very damaging and if both of you ever lived in Britain or worse still the south of Ireland you would see the stereotype built up on Northern Irish people as a result of such sensationalism. A policeman was murdered by a gang we know nothing really about , could be linked to drugs or some sort of dispute , policemen are killed all over the world and never do we hear of people blaming t on religion and the likes without a detailed investigation. All these politicians are gaining points for their election campaigns is all and news teams getting ratings, it's sick!!! None of this has anything to do with religion.
By:
For a lasing peace and stability people need to stop brushing the real problems under the carpet other wise the problems will keep coming back always, it is amazing how supposedly intelligent people can't see this happening.
By:
zipifried you have no idea what you are talking about im afraid and to call me a bigot simply because i challenged your own bigoted views in the past just shows you up for what you are.
By:
Also you must be the only person in the whole of Ireland not to know that Ronan Kerr was murdered by Republican dissidents.Time to take your blinkers off.
By:
insideinfo you were ripped apart by a few on here and you lost the plot and spouted off your real Orange bigoted attitude. How do you know he was murdered by Dissidents ? It is all an assumption surely until they admit it to be fact. No other societies law force would assume such things. That is not my point though but as usual you miss the point, the fact he is catholic should not be highlighted if all things are equal. Why was there no sensationalism news when the catholic boy was brutally murdered on a train track a few years ago ? There were countless attacks and murders on catholic teenagers at that time. Would it be because they were by protestants and it would have caused a lot of tension on the peace process? The news did not report it in a sectarian way and i understand the reasoning. So why when a police officer is killed is his religion highlighted ? Could it have been reported as a policeman killed in attack by a gang with major problems with the law force. The fact he is catholic is irrelevant , this conflict has never been about religion and still it is reported this way and that is my only argument. If things are equal and none of these news teams and politicians are sectarian then why do they make up the motives and sell them on? Yes the dissidents very likely planted the bomb and some may say because he was catholic but do you know what they think for sure? Surely if everybody knows what way they think then they would never be able to operate in the first place and all this would have been resolved years ago. There are other issues involved that are ignored and that is very dangerous and until general society grasps the reality it will never go away, not just in Ireland but in other conflicts around the world. Sweet Mary and Joseph for christ sake please god understand these people are not a catholic force and religious people fighting over god and a book.
By:
I wasnt ripped apart by anybody in the past zipifried, and i certainly dont have a bigoted orange attitude as you put it.You seem to have a habit of making things up to try and discredit people.
Just to make it clear, i support the Police,i support law and order and i suport democracy and i detest ALL paramilataries whether Republican or Loyalist. Now please stop making a complete fool of yourself. You are past reasoning with and if you cant understand that Catholic policemen are being deliberately targeted because of their religion then there is no hope for you. |
By:
I remember quite clearly you losing the plot when your support of Orange bigoted marching was ripped apart so deny all you want but it is people like you who walk down roads singing about your butcher boys and fienian blood that do a lot of damage to peoples peace.
By:
so answer how you know that catholic policemen are being targeted?
By:
What exactly do you remember quite clearly zipifried?? Why do keep trying to insist i lost the plot, please stop making things up you silly little man because you are starting to sound like you have been let out for the day? I have never walked down any road singing sectarian songs in my life and if i was such a bigot then why would i be condemning the killing of a Catholic.I wont be responding to anymore of your rubbish but i will be motitoring this thread and i will repot you if you post any more unfounded allegations or try to besmirch my character with lies.
By:
Insideinfo you were defending people walking down a road singing bigoted songs and when i suggested they should be banned as it would always plant seeds of hate that could lead to murders in the future, you got very upset by this. Eventually a few others weighed in on the debate and you argument was shredded and you left the thread leaving us with some bigoted insults. That is 100% fact , i would not make it up as i would not have done on others what i would not like done on myself. Lie all you want to but my only point with debates like this is that if people ignore the seeds of hate then no amount of condemning and rhetoric will ever bring us peace for our children.
By:
Just for the record for anyone reading this, zipifried is a well known bigot who lives in a wee world of his own in Rasharkin.Known for twisting the facts and his poor grasp of politics in Northern Ireland,he despises anyone who does not hold the same nonsensical political beliefs as himself. He has taken a previous thread on Orange marches completely out of context here and tried to make out i am a bigot which i can assure anyone here i am not. Please also remember this is the same guy who also claimed to be a Protestant yet he could not spell it.LOL.
By:
jesus christ, ye are like a pair of kids.
By:
Newmanic please don't put me in the same bracket as this moron. He fails to grasp the points made to him and lies through his teeth or just has a very bad memory. I never claimed to be a protestant , i said i was not a catholic but you go ahead and contradict your earlier self rightous sentiments. Just do us all a favor and stop walking down roads supporting bigots down towns you have no business being in. This is the seed of hate that has to be eradicated to bring a realistic chance of peace in the future.

By:
I dont judge anyone that Ive never met zipi. This thread is about a young man who was cowardly killed and that killing has blunted our progress as a nation relying on foreign investment and tourism. btw zipi I made contact with Mary, thanks.

Mary actually passed away a couple of weeks ago in an accident which i was very sad to hear.
