        Munster (11/14)    v (22)    Leinster (8/5)Cap at 3/4

Must say i was firmly in the Munster camp all week - was nt havin a bet as i felt the price was too skinny but looking at the teams now - Leinster i believe are a crackin bet at 11/8 - they have won the last 5 games between the 2 teams and i thought they would rest a few players for the Heineken Cup but they are goin all out to win this game obviously lookin at the strength of that team

Cant understand why there's no - Warwick/Leamy/Stringer startin for Munster Shocked

Leinster at full strength bar Eoin Reddan but should see him at some stage and they look much stronger in the back+front rows
Leinster at 11/8 and +3 and a small bet on them to win by 6-10 points at 13/2 as well

First time i've ever backed Leinster against Munster i think Laugh

That was a cracker.......the crowd lifted Munster home.
Report lustrumm April 2, 2011 9:29 PM BST
have you ever seen anything like it. I was sickened I couldn't go however financially it went my way to trade the game. Imagine O Gara was 2.16 to kick what was the last play of the game. I can only assume it was British traders that did not have pictures.
One of the most exciting games I have ever seen

Hope O'Connell is OK. Gone until world cup initial impression.

Still no try for Munster but by far best show of last 6.

He said whe ninterviewed after he thought there was 5 minutes left. That is why they did not take the penalty in fron of the posts in an earlier phase and he very nearly kicked to the corner (replay shows him shaping up to do that, remember it was his choice as O Connell was gone off) right at the end. Asked the ref how much time and the ref said 55, O Gara thought he said 5 minutes. He said he was in a world of his own. Despite them being hockeyed in the first half when he sprinted off to have the blook injury treated I just knew whatever had gone on at halftime this was going to go right to the end. They got a good bit of help from the ref as well to be fair but that is what the 16th man is for.
Jeez imagine if he kicked to the corner.
Believe it or not as he lined up the kick he was 2.16 on Betfair to kick it (there was over €2000 waiting to be matched) I guess it was a trader.
Pesonally I thought Leinster at 1.15 to lay were too short at halftime. Munster were 8.0 to back at halftime and Leinster 1.15 to lay

Lustrumm.....Maybe it was just a d4 guy playing with his last few bob he got off Anglo.

or maybe even a meathman just trying to spend the last of the area aid check he'd got from the dept of agri ...Laugh.. a cracking game ..as was said well done both sides they gave their all ...
Report GANT007 April 3, 2011 11:25 AM BST
You will find most of the land in Meath would not qualify for aid.....Most landowners did well enough selling at very high prices to people building 1100sq foot dwellings for people trying to flee the cities.......some of the most expensive b&b's ever.
For a chap who claims the National Stud as an old stomping ground I'm surprised you are not more clued up on agri grants.
Report workrider April 3, 2011 1:55 PM BST
you can be from meath and own farms in others counties gant ..know what i mean .....Cool...you' re right about the cost of b&b in the suburbs of dublin , places like dunshaughlin clonee ... gone sky high ....Laugh
Report GANT007 April 3, 2011 3:39 PM BST
Are you accusing Meathmen of being wealthy landowners buying up farms in disadvantaged areas just to get a grant to leave the land idle or get paid for planting a few trees.........handy money but not as handy as falling over a manhole cover and claiming against the corpo.......Dunshaughlin, Clonee, Ashbourne and Dunboyne have been turned into horrible places.........The area I'm from all we got was a know all taxi driver.
Report workrider April 3, 2011 4:02 PM BST
never met a know all taximan gant he must have been a local Laugh..the 4 areas you spoke about about were always horrible places ....but the outlying fields blocked the view....Laugh

As a matter of interest, lustrumm, what price did you make that final penalty kick ?
Report benny_ROBS_roy April 3, 2011 6:00 PM BST
i thought it was pretty much a 50-50 kick. And time wasnt up anyway leinster had a chance had they won the restart.

O gara missed an easier kick than that earlier in the half
Report lustrumm April 3, 2011 11:16 PM BST
I would have bet 4/9 if I could have. was tied into Munster at a better price average so did not play but I got a fright when I saw it on the screen and thought for a second I had live paused the TV. Jeez he had the exact kick 10 minutes earlier. If he was to miss that then I could not forgive him. Also he had led from the front all night and when he gets in the zone he is in a different league
Report Newmanix April 4, 2011 8:41 AM BST
That kick cost me a right few bobCry
Report yummy April 4, 2011 11:38 AM BST
hardly a 50/50 kick for someone with a strike rate like O Gara.

BENNY ROBS ROY

I will take even money about any professional placekicker to kick any kick at any time any where in any game. Call me cut out the commission
Report reb April 4, 2011 11:44 AM BST
Interesting. Wasn't betting on match but think I would have made it about 4/6 myself.
