WR as a complete novice i opened up the paper and was looking through Cork and the first race grabbed my eye. It would appear that probably the first 2 in the betting have it between them? Mouse Morris's horse looks like a bit of value finished just behind some decent sorts in Cork and may have finished closer to the fav in Navan  only for the jock reporting he kept him well back to the horse would see out the trip on testing ground and coming back from a break. Although i just checked the price and both joint favs at 3's thought Mouse's was the outsider of the 2.

It may sound strange but i would not begrudge the fav being the winner as the trainer rode a horse i had a half a hoof in a couple of times.

Some money for Mick Winters mare at his local track - ran well enough at Cork in the past has Burnfort Girl.

Was impressed by Benefficient at Bandon, quickened up well to beat a subsequent winner so has to be respected in the bumper.

Doctor Deejay is fancied Workrider, PH said they are very hopeful he will get the trip and expect him to go close.

I didn't think he wanted a step up in trip but there ye go, i'll just be watching on (probably hose up now Laugh)

^^^^^^^ If he stays I've got him all wrong, won't see the race in any case, but I always thought he travelled so well at 2miles. Well, as Micky Fitz would say, there ya go.

On the Way Out is handicapped to win the race.  Cant see anyone beating him off 128 if he is in half decent form.  Looks to have gone a bit sour to me though.  Am willing to take a chance at 14/1.

Funny pretty sure i read exactly word for word what both SateliteFlight and Bigwilly wrote in one of the tabloids. Lads the two of you learn to think for yourself !

The clue is in the initials you clown, the horse is owned by 2 greyhound trainers and a greyhound owner

Listen chill out man, we are all friends on the forum. Just what you said was lifted nearly word for word from a tabloid and pretty sure it was written by a man with the initials PH as well. If come over to shelbourne in a few weeks time will give you a shout and we can share a beer together mate?

And he's called after a certain Kilkenny hurler too. I've backed Deejay all season long and theres no doubt that there's a race in him. Ruby will ride him to get the trip and I can defo see him winning today. Everything in his favour so I'd have a re-think PF!!!!!

I never realised that the horse was called after DJ Carey. One learns something everyday. Hope he wins as I have layed the jolly at 4.2

Not off lads, stayed alright, looks like it is being lined up for one, not sure where SatFlight is getting his info from but not off Ruby did not hit until it's chance had gone after the last. I'd watch this for Punchestown SatFlight though[;)].

A few observations

1) I noticed John Cullen was not down to ride Shannon Spirit. I checked the Irish racing website and see that he got a 3 day suspension for overweight in Cheltenham. Joseph was lucky not to get similar at the Leop on Sunday. I see he is down for a ride in the 8 30 at Dundalk tomorrow, riding at 8 11 after his claim. That means he has shed 4 lbs since Sunday.

2) I laid Bog Warrior at 4.1. I have just realised that Ruby rode it. Typical Tony Martin.

3) Geraghty back today. Not a word about it earlier in the week. Earliest would be the week-end.

SateliteFlight will you relax man, i am not doubting you know the owners what i am saying that info is not correct mate that horse was not off. Look at the head on and you'll see my point of view, did you know SatFlight there is more than one way to skin a cat? So there is more than one way to watch a race so watch racing replay in the morning you'll be amazed at what you learn.

Anyway regardless getting info from owners is a quick way to the poor house SatelliteFlight when i used to take horsey betting serious i always did my own homework as well which allowed me to make an informed decision i.e. Like my tip on here earlier on.

Good luck at the dogs later if you're going and remember don't always listen to owners i was one plenty of times Laugh

By the way my twist first when we met in Shelbourne Park !

I said i wasn't backing him but then again that doesn't suit your crap so you change it, and p.s i would rather stick pins in my eyes than have a drink with you, i think you are a pr|ck. However do come to Shelbourne some night, ask Workrider who i am and then you can call me a cretin to me face!!

But that's not right SatelliteFlight he clearly got the trip, going well and found plenty for what he was asked to find. Listen not sure why you crack up when tackled about the poor info but the horse was not off, and your lack of your creditable argument has not made me change my mind either. So i am just saying take any info you get from owners with a pinch of salt!!!!

I apologise for the cretin remark as well last night, did not know you would take it to heart either mate, or did a few people say the same thing about you? Hopefully you will mellow in the next few weeks or else one of us will be chasing the other around the dog track at Shelbourne Park Laugh

Maybe myself, yourself, Giant & WR could go for a meal either there?

I took offence as you where making out i was lieing, 1st about who owned the horse and i proved you wrong and then you where trying to insinuate i didn't get told it, i was highlighting that i was not backing the horse which i didn't for the reason i stated whether it was right or wrong is inmaterial to me as i was not on.

I accept your apology but i am not your mate and never will be so how about you just stay away from my posts and i will do likewise with yours.
By:

When: 31 Mar 11 19:28
No i never said or insinuated you were making things up, i just said what you said more or less is what was printed in one of the red (rag) tops ! But that's not here nor there as the info you got was totally wrong in that the horse was not off, thats my point. SatFlight have a look at racing replay tomorrow morning when you've calmed down mate. And i tell you what with a clear head and in the sober light of morning i will be amazed if you don't change your mind.

I tell you this if you have not changed your mind by the time we met i'll buy the first 2 rounds, but you must be able to keep a straight face when you're telling me you were not fed porky pies ! Or SatFlight if this fella runs at Punchestown and we are both there you can lay me my bet?

Doctor Deejay ...IMHO satelite flight was spot on wit his own views on the horse...horse ridden to get the trip and died in the last 100yards.. loked a cert to make the places but died late on.......hope you keep posting Sat Fl...saved me euros as i was goin to bet him for the place but reading between the lines of your post i think you felt he might not get the trip ...spot on keep posting[;)]
