lol. In fairness Sexton is the future, and i am an avid O Gara fan. As ROG says himself he cant go on forever

Yeah exactly he is the future, but its the present now!!!!!

Donal you clown, if Rog was the better player he would start. Fact is he cant tackle, had two shockers against France the last two times he has played them and Irelands style of play does not suit his game. Very little kicking in Rugby now and kicking is all he is good at. He is like a turnstile in defense. He has had his time. His game is suited to coming off the bench. I really hope he starts the next game for Ireland to remind you how limited he is.

Istonic Rog is the past. Sexton is the present not the future. The Irish management have made up their mind.

Sexton has cost Ireland and Leinster games in the past by his s**t kicking and the fact is he will again. Whereas O'Gara has saved Munster and Ireland numerous times, eg Italy last week and should never ever be dropped from the team when he is fit.
If Sexton ever wins a game for Ireland with a last minute drop goal I will eating my hat!! He doesn't have the same killer instinct and never will! |

sure big willy knows everything.
sexton is getting his chances on a plate, might be better in ways, but should be dropped to make him more focused and hungrier. |

I think we are blessed to have the 2 of them, gives us different options and good to have one of them on the bench to keep the other motivated.

Disappointing that we failed to take our chances again.
Sexton has to bear some responsibility. Must be stated however in the interest of balance that O'Gara was awful when he came on. That missed kick to touch from the penalty wouldnt be seen in schools rugby. Let's not even mention the attempted I've just sh!t myself grubber kick for Heaslips try. Leo Cullen must have been pleased to get the last 6 seconds of the game. |
