He seems to misjudge pace on slow ground for my liking... less show boating tomorrow and he could have another serious day...

For what its worth, when Andrew Lynch got off Trafford last day he said that Thurles didn't suit him at all, he was over jumping his fences and hadn't the tactical speed to go with them when the screw turned.... he thought Leop and the Hennessy would suit and his exact words were "i'd be very confident he'd be placed in the hennessy".... i'm been honest here and i've been shot down b4 for making comments...make of that what you please...don't shoot messenger

Townend has not deserved the high praises and media coverage (Alan Sweetmans latest article made me sick) he getting...simply put Willie Mullins is churning out horses that are vastly superior to there opposition and any half whit jock can win on them.... David Casey yesterday.... even Patrick won on Dooneys gate ffs...
