That a friendly game would attract a crowd like that when you have probably one of the worst nights of weather in years and all that against a team who are ranked 108 in the world. Great atmosphere and an awesome performance by the green machine, 3-0  destroying Wales. I met one Welsh fan who has been over to every Welsh 6 nations match to be played in Dublin in the last 50 years and he never seen anything like what he called the spaceshift of a stadium we have and he is an Arsenal fan as well. Tonight was a great roll on the next match.

It was a terrible crowd and awful atmosphere but an excellent second half performance by Ireland in all fairness. We showed the attacking intentions and creativity that have missing under Trap.

No pleasing some people hey Squigs, no other football nation would have got that crowd on one of the worst night for many a year against one of the worst ranked teams in football. Loved the bit at the start where the young lads belting out the national anthem, i have to admit many the older generation of supporter shed a tear as well as some of the players.
