Race 1) Launchpad. A dire maiden hurdle. Gigginstown Stud usually purchase wisely and a chance is taken on this one.

Race 2) Torphichen (Nap). Grade 1 form against Realt Dubh and Noble Prince should see this one doddle in.

Race 3) Bog Warrior. The money was down on New Year's Day for this one and DOC didn't let the punters down. Liss A Choil who had the race won LTO when he came down at the last is the alternative.

Race 4)The Sneezer (Lay) Put in as forecast fav this one will hardly be allowed another solo and can be layed up to his forecast SP (15/8). Norn and the boys might select a winner as handicap chases are a no no for me in general.

Race 5) Accordion To Paddy (Treble). A rating of 96 and a winner of his last two races, Mark O'Hare's gelding can rack up a quick hat-trick.

Race 6) Shirley Casper. This one ran a great race in a much higher class race against Realt Dubh LTO and with Paddy Flood in good form too this one is selected.

Race 7) Samain (NB). Young Patrick tipped this one up in a very amusing article " In The Stables" in the Indo this morning. He says this is one of their better bumper horses and Cheltenham is next if all goes well.

Disappointing no responses so far though of course few will probably add tomorrow. The Willie Mullins bandwagon is likely to continue with 1 or 2 at least  winners on card. The stand out bet for me however is according to paddy as long as recent down royal win has not taken its toll, though if it has doubt he would be runner today. Travels, jumps and change of gear can put these to the sword on track that is sure to suit.
