Anyone know about the wellbeing of Oscars Wells who s entered in the Deloitte on Sunday ??? .... Backed him the last two times he won and was real impressed with him on both occasions ....I know their are some good entries in the race but i  Thought the 10/1 1/4 3 places with Stan James was great value ......

ye, great run dingle. i didnt back him as i felt 2m 2f was on the short side for him in a grade one but thankfully i was wrong.. the owners mick and joe two of the nicest guys ur ever likely to meet. one 86 the other i think late 60s and both just normal retired men .two nephews of micks the other owners , met one once at punchestown and he was sound out. they have a serious horse now though. My one reservation about cheltenham is he does seem to like a bit of cut but navan wasnt as soft as official going sugguests so fingers crossed.

Well done for keeping the faith. I also backed him both times but when Sweet Shock ran such a shocker next time I began to doubt the form. Sick.

i didnt want to be that blunt observer but your not far wrong. Id say there was a bit of give in places where frost hadnt got in too far but i still feel and this is just my opionion not the owners is  that he is better on soft

Just looked at quotes from Jessie Harrington on the ground ... after he won his maiden hurdle she is quoted on irishracing.com that he loves heavy ground and after yesterdays race says that he will be better on good ground ..... Anyway they say the real good ones go on most ground ..... Racing can be strange sometimes , if you look at Oscar Wells he s after winning two grade ones on the bridle and there is not much said yet if Zaidipour had won yesterday in the manner like Oscar Wells did he d be hailed the new  Istabraq !!
