Mount Benbulben in the last for me - won his 2nd point start despite uprooting most of the fences, decent enough time too and if learning to settle the 33/1 looks huge for a trainer having her first rules runner.

3.15 - 0.5pts E.W Moville @ 15/2 (Think he was just out for the experience last time, made one mistake early on but was never really put in the race and got tired late on, will hopefully come on for that and although i would rather this be over 2m i will stay with him)

Probably SF - would have been nice to see him kick on a bit with him given we know how well the horse stays and badly hampered inside the final furlong when staying on too.
Looks a very nice horse to me when upped in trip and there was a chance to get out if wanted but the 33's was just far too big. |

norn iron....What an unbelievable run of bad luck, bad enough missing out on Dundrum but the story around the bumper just rank misfortune.One thing we know about racing is it can drive you to distraction but we tend to bounce back,thats the way to look at it....rest and forget.I dont know if you are a drinking man but if you are...........does it for me every time.

i think i should leave Davy R alone, i jinx him or he jinxes me.... had a craic at gates of rome, thought it was a relatively weak field and murphy doesn't bring them up there too often.... bad fall, Davy was lucky.... i know if i was on the winner Davy would have pinged the last and flew home... thankfully he's ok though |
