Could be bad .  Following progress on Australian network .  Will be peaking in next couple of hours .  Keeping fingers crossed for the locals there .

Yasi has slowed down though , might help with missing high tide a bit . Worrying time for a lot in North Queensland , as if the flooding further south was not enough disaster for one year .
