Same here Decky Cry Think Tavern Times can get me of to a flyer at Leop in the opener. Sent off as fav in the Chelt Champion Bumper this year, yard won this particular maiden hurdle in 2009. If he can translate his bumper form over hurdles he'l be the one to beat ! Stearing job !!Blush

Anybody gone through the Paddy Power Chase for tomorrow? Think Agus A Vic looks big at 33/1. Has won twice over C&D once on bottomless going. They where both hunter chases carrying 12 stone and 11-11. Tomorrow he only has 10-2 on his back with his jock (who is very decent) taking off another 3lbs. To be honest he looked like he had gone at the game for a while but showed up well last time at Galway behind Got Attitude of Jessie Harrington. That day the race was over 2m 6f and he finished like he had a rocket up his bottom and was only beat a fast diminishing 4 3/4L. Tomorrow the trip is better for him, he has a nice weight, the going should not pose any problems and he stays well which is key in this race. Surely he shouldn't be that big

Sat – A major concern is that he has been known to burst.Have to consider that when evaluating whats a good price. Anything over 20/1, I'd take a chance.

I expect Evesham Star E/W 10/1 to run a big race at Limerick tomorrow. 2nd to Lonesome Dove last time out who contests a mares listed race at Leop tomorrow and prior to that was 5th in a race that has thrown up several winners. If Lonesome Dove runs well at Leop and I think she will,(comes from a family of black type performers) it will be a good pointer for the  chances of Evesham Star.

Stewarts House e/w at 33s for me in the PP hcap chase.
Loves the course, trainer has a decent record in the race, only a few lbs higher that when winning here back in Feb.

Interesting clash in the mares race tomorrow at Leop between For Bill and Our girl Salley. Anyone know if theyve given up on fences with For Bill?

11.50 - No idea, Tavern Times must have a chance but most know my views on the trainer - NO BET

12.20 - Very competitive - NO BET

12.50 - Hoping for another impressive performance from Zaidpour but can't play at that price - NO BET

1.20 - Big Zeb @ 13/8 (and in a double)

1.55 - Hurricane Fly @ 4/6 (and in a double)

2.30 - Agus A Vic @ 33/1 (for the reason pointed out below) + Stewards House

3.05 - Bale O Shea @ 10/1 + Cayo Levantado

3.35 - No idea probably won't wait around for it

4 seconds todayCry my mate picked out FIRST LIEUTENANT and we decided that we wouldent bother backing it without at 3/1 as we thought the bookies were robbing us and for a win as we thought 14/1 was small considering ZAIDPOUR looked nailed on. Summed up our day!

Can i also say that Paul Townend is a bit cocky for his own good. He is over confident on some of his mounts and needs to add some elbow grease to some of his mounts. If I backed long odds about ZAIDPOUR i would be fairly pissed off.
