Tuesday 28th – Limerick Free entry to Day Three of the Christmas Festival
Limerick’s Christmas meeting is always one of the highlights of the National Hunt season in Munster and the 2010/11 festivities are unlikely to be any different. The third day of the four-day festival (December 28th) is traditionally one of the most competitive cards of the entire meeting, with the Grade 3 Dorans Pride Novice Hurdle taking centre stage. With the last two renewals of the race having been won by Enterprise Park and Weapon’s Amnesty, another classy contest can be expected.
Wednesday 29th – Leopardstown Free entry to the final day of the Christmas Festival
For many, the Christmas meeting at Leopardstown is one of the highlights of the entire National Hunt calendar in Ireland and the fourth and final day of the festivities(December 29th) is always a card to remember. The feature event of the day is the Grade 1 December Festival Hurdle and it has produced many wonderful races down the years,with the likes of Solwhit, Brave Inca and Macs Joy having won it in the last decade. It is always a race to savour and should not be missed.
