really cant see him doing the business ,dont know if he's the same horse as last year . maybe those hard races last year have got him thinking about it ... ?

Looks a shadow of former self. i wouldnt back him with any confidence to even finish the race. How bout Notre Pere (if ground comes up really testing) and siegemaster (nice change from giving chunks of weight away in hcaps) both ew?

Be fair lads, he had not run since winning the novice race at Leopardstown last Christmas when he went to Down Royal. All he did there was canter to the start and was withdrawn, you can't judge him on that. Then he went to the Hennessy a rough and tough handicap for which he was very inexperienced. He made a bad mistake at the 2nd (i think) and was then badly hampered by a faller at the 4th (again i think) and was out of the race.
I could not judge him on that and can forgive him the Newbury run |
