Even the local minks didn't turn up tonight, there would be more at a LOI soccer match than there is in this kip

A fellow just said you can now park your car in peace now at the new track, must have been nice there before
Report robo December 18, 2010 9:29 PM GMT
They have a bookie on there and he's betting to 125%,and this is a classic final. They bet to them percentages on bags dogs, but they do it in Limerick for the premier race in the calendar

get a licence and try it
Report robo December 18, 2010 10:15 PM GMT
Couldn't be bothered never give up,I'd be busier if I stood on a corner down the dock road.I'd have no expenses and one or two gigs a night would do me
Report Rocketfingers December 18, 2010 10:18 PM GMT

Report robo December 18, 2010 10:28 PM GMT
There's a difference between being Victor Meldrew and telling it as it is.Ok how does this grab you, there's a big crowd there,it's not a kip,the bookies are very busy and are betting to minuscule margins giving the punters every chance
Report never give up December 18, 2010 10:32 PM GMT
its very easy to get a licence

Never give up, just because I could do something better or know where people are going wrong doesn't mean I have to take up the profession.
Report never give up December 18, 2010 11:00 PM GMT
percentages means nothing if only one dog is being bet
Report robo December 18, 2010 11:05 PM GMT
Yes that is true but this was a lever final, and the bookies bet to 100% on the ist 4 dogs in the betting and had the two outsiders as complete skinners.that can't be right and they can't say there was only one dog being bet in a classic final
Report never give up December 18, 2010 11:09 PM GMT
5/2 3/1 4/1 9/2 is 92 percent
Report robo December 18, 2010 11:12 PM GMT
And 5/2 each of two ,3/1 and 4/1 is just over 101%

them prices were available and 5/2 5/2 3s and 4s is 102.15
Report robo December 18, 2010 11:19 PM GMT
The sp return on the final was 5/2 each of two,3/1,4/1,5/1 and 8/1 which isn't far off 130 %,not bad for a classic final
Report never give up December 18, 2010 11:23 PM GMT
asc i said there was better prices available................go ang get a licence and stop complaining ffs
Report robo December 18, 2010 11:27 PM GMT
And as I said if they were available they weren't the prices that were there at the off, hence the phrase starting price.
Report never give up December 18, 2010 11:27 PM GMT
and as i said get a licence or dry ur eyes
Report robo December 18, 2010 11:33 PM GMT
And as I said please refrain from spouting about something when you are clueless.Using prices off the top of your head to calculate an sp percentage return and saying that only one dog being bet in a classic final as well
Report never give up December 18, 2010 11:34 PM GMT

Sorry robo, for not betting to 100 %..alot of the times the price's on the board are not the prices you lay the punter, any lad that goes racing will know this,As in if i have 7/2 on board you will be asked for 4 etc..On the race in question i felt i bet fair enough,I layed the trap 1 at 10/3,got very little of out off 2 at 6/1..Layed trap 3 to connections at 10,got plenty out of winner at 4/1,layed favourite at 2-9/4 and finished up going 5/2 and layed 6 at 5/1...Now i know that still only betting to 112...As for standing on the dock road ,Alot of nights i would be better off joining you there, but things not that bad yet..I felt it was a good race ,didnt fancy winner just because he has not breaking but he fairly did and was a good performance..I hope for the next Leger final to bet harder for you maybe 106 % But that of course if i still around by the time it comes..Hope you have a nice Christmas and happy new year, only watched the rte coverage this morning as was too hungover yesterday,i felt it was avery good show, hoping they come back in summer 11...

The clerk is normally a family member out in the sticks and the fee is normally 6 times the entrance fee( minus racecard and promos)same as the point to points.
