Ruby's book isn't too bad.
If you haven't read it yet, Moneyball by Michael Lewis is a must. Why England Lose another good one. |
|
By:
I read Ruby's book, but there's nothing really new in it. Don't get me wrong it was well written, however I thought it was a bit cautious.

Agassi's book is class.

I have heard that Ruby's book is completely uninteresting.
The Dunwoody "Obsessed" book is the bst that I have read from all the jockeys. I would have very little interest in reading most of them to be honest. It is about the horses in my view and the lives of the jocks do not interest me. |

I also want to put in a bad word for the DAIL/GAA book by Conor McMarrow. I got a present of it last week and it was in the recyling bin within a hal hour.
Jeez the tripe that manages to get published these days. As for Ruby Walsh he is the driest man in racing so how could he have a good story to tell. I'd say the bloke still has nis communion money in his pigg bank. Boring |

By:
Ruby is not as dry as you might imagine. He doesn't do the hangers on circut like some jockeys and no point knocking a top sportsman who chooses to plan for the future.
A few lads riding now wish they hadn't got sucked in by their so called builder friends. |
