Without getting into a slagging match with you about the respective merits of our clubs Dun77. I don`t think you`re wrong. I know you are.
And maybe a little research wouldn`t go astray either. You will find that despite being on 2k a week, Jayo was never not paid by his former employers. Don`t believe all you read in the papers (or what wr posts!) my dear boy.
I think a retraction is in order.

If it is true which I haven`t received confirmation of, then I wish him all the best. He served us well.

In your opinion Giaant do you think WR has a point, also whats your opinion on Quigley also?

He does. No doubt Jayo past his best, but when he finally got fit last year he showed what he could still do like the winner against Rovers for example. He will still do a good job if fullyfit and motivated.
As for Quigley.
He was stuck on the left wing all last season. Sulked for half of it. When he eventually got going he showed glimpses of his old ability (brilliant at home in midseason v Sligo) but not in front of goal. Cry Missed way too many chances for someone that was so prolific before.
In short, plenty of untapped ability with a large chip on his shoulder!

i suppose the question for dundalk is what is he worth now ? . giant on byrnes fitness , not long after he scored against us  he was taken off with a niggling injury which seemed to reappear every other week after words . i would be very concerned of him lasting a full season as i'd imagine he wont be full time with dundalk ? ..  note for you giant , we are lurking in the background till after xmas , with a large amount of cash waiting to buy players that will see us remain  CHAMPIONS FOR A LONG TIME .

I've been of the opinion for a long time that byrne needs too many chances to score a goal. He got away with it at shels and bohs for the years they dominated. I'd be surprised if he managed 10 league goals at dundalk next year.
