Will have pretty much every sports fan in Ireland tuned into it tonight, what other sport captures peoples immagination like soccer? We see this with our own FAI club final recently being the biggest club final in any sport in Ireland in years and years. Any thoughts on the game? I think i will go for a low scoring game and maybe a little 0-0 or a 1-0 R Madrid or even Real to win to nil all at chunky odds.

Anyway enjoy El Classico Ireland enjoy the beautiful game the people's game.

Do your never tire of posting such bullsh|t just looking for an arguement?

Actually im just as bad for replying to your rubbish

Both club soccer matches, Both Irish clubs linked with both Spanish clubs. Shamrock Rovers linked with Real Madrid mate very close sister clubs Real Madrid often coming over to Tallaght and playing them, Sligo Rovers style of play often compared with Barcelona both students of the school of 'Total Football'. All 4 clubs fan owned very few clubs like this throughout the world.

Anyway just give your bets please not the daft talk !!!!

i'll add my tuppence worth if i may . i think the special one as jose calls himself , just might have found the right players to take madrid to the title this year . barca , are a wonderful team as we all know . but madrid have added steel as well as a touch of class to their play this season .therefore my play tonight is a lay of barca . sadly for me i have to go out and will miss the game Sad

You are joking, compared by whom. The only thing Sligo and Barca have in common is they both use a round ball. Barca style of play is pioneering and beautiful Sligo's football is attractive but being played in one of the poorest top divisions in Europe.

If Barca played the likes of Sligo in a one off match it would finish about 9 or 10 nil easily.

But bait biting aside I see Barca winning 2-1 tonight.
people are overplaying Mourinho's so called record that Messi has never scored against any of his teams, He has been beaten on every previous visit to the Nou Camp and this will continue.

Looking forward to it though.

Whats on show tonight is football at its very best. Dont see what relevance it has to your silly arguments about LOI v GAA.
Tonights event in Barcelona is comparable to a Munster Hurling final or the last day of the US Masters in terms of my favourite sporting events of the year

Deffo not Workrider that came from a Pats fans who claims he heard that from one of our fans !!! seems to be one or two people wanting to make some mischief. I seen it on another website, people claiming Richie Ryan could not be on so little and had to be getting more under the table, but nobody wanted to sign Richie Ryan this time last year including us, If they think he was on more why did no one come in and offer him more? He even give an interview about how little we were offering him. BUT he was poor last year that he could not get near a team that were playing poorLY for most of the year. Anyway he had a serious attitude change for a couple of reasons that i won't go into he came back a new player, but to answer your question our club is ran very well and that is rubbish or wishful thinking from some quarters.

@Gant i see this being an underish game, betting teh draw at HT

Thousands of miles away..........

The answer is obviously San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals, Monday Night Football. Thousands of Irish tuned into it all over Ireland, UK, Mainland Europe and USA/Canada.

Bets, you asked? Thinking of a small back of 49ers at 1.87 for small stakes to start. What about yourself?
Report Rocketfingers November 29, 2010 8:49 PM GMT
Wow as soon as the famous Real Madrid - Shamrock Rovers link is mentioned the green eyed monster comes out, Juve players said they never played in a better atmosphere in Europe than Tallaght than night and a perfect way for them to prepare for trips to Inter, AC Milan, Napoli, Palermo and Roma where the crowd really get at them. By the way it was Con Murphy on MNS as well as the panel the total football link between the other two clubs. These people know more than me or you, please don't shoot the messanger.

You see, I knew it was a 'trick' Spain isn;t thousnads of miles away, Arizona is. Very clever Rocket, fooled everyone.

Arizona gone way downhill since Warner retired and Anquan Boldin left, not playing on the game tonight but if i was it would be the 49ers for me too. GL
Report kavvie November 29, 2010 8:59 PM GMT
it should be a great game..i might go with the 49s also..there wil be a big crowd in the clubhouse to look at it..ill be in the middle of a crowd of high ranking officials looking at it thankfully...
Report Wallflower November 29, 2010 9:00 PM GMT
Agree Satellite, I know 49ers aren't great but they are trying and have talent. Cardinals as you say, are clearly on the slide without Warner/Boldin.

I'm playing tonight, tempted to go bigger on 49ers but that can be very tricky in the NFL - besides there is always the only adage of bewares Monday Night home 'dogs. Its spooked me a bit.

You have no credibility after that idiotic claim.
Report Wallflower November 29, 2010 9:12 PM GMT
Noted; though I think in my mind its more a lay of Arizona than a back of San Francisco. Nothing like life-savings on it, just hoping for a good game - the winner keeps their season going.

IF the 49ers get their act together they will win if they don't will then who knows, just got to feel 49ers are a better team but have not really shown this year. I think it's not a game to have a bet on all histroy is with points being scored so that could be a better bet.
