Thank fook for that GS, I'm on Pandorama
![]() Neptune Collonges too, with w+pl savers on Silver by Nature & Dream Alliance at silly prices. Great race in prospect, Powers are taking on Denman. |

Fook you das. |

As a good as a winner now
![]() ![]() |

I know Harbour Pilot went close in this but I`m genuinely happy to steer clear of it. That win last Xmas is not exactly top class form with Catch Me so close up. WA clearly much better at Cheltenham.
Good luck das. YOU`LL NEED IT! ![]() |
By:
I wouldn't read too much into the proxmity of others to him in his novice chases, he won them, thats all that counts, and tbh there is no way in hell Denman gives him that weight tomorrow! He was ready to run 3 weeks ago so we know he's fit. If he's there going to the last he wins.

I`ll get my coat so! Night lads. |

Was lookin for alternatives to the jolly.
Weird Al too short Silver by nature looks h-capped up to his nuts. Diamond harry and burton port look lively but after seeing taranis's reappearance last season 14s look too big for me! |
By:
taranis needs cheltenham. diamond harry for me with his track and 1st time out record.
By:
Im on Burton Port @ 12s[;)]

By:
Burton Port pour moi.
By:
on the panda but wouldnt is be special if denman could do it again
By:
Pando very badly hampered there
By:
Denman ran a stormer.
Wd any winners. Yeah Neptune fell and stopped Pando, my race gone at one fence. |
By:
Don't think it was being hampered that effected him that badly. Hit the second hard and didn't look comfortable from the off. More to the bleeding nose at Down Royal?
By:
Dunno could nt see much with the rubbish camera angle to be honest
By:
Denman was AWESOME, great performance

By:
pandorama
jumped the 1st hit the 2nd bad camera but seemed slowish but ok at the 3rd jumped grand and hampered 4th ahh well some ya win some ya lose |
By:
Pandorama thumped the first ditch which undid his confidence, going nowhere after that

By:
Pandorama my arse das.
![]() Burton Port ![]() |
By:
Can hardly say Pandorama his race though GS
or any sort of race. Did he even travel a mile?Jury is out for me tbh. Am nearly more gutted about Neptune being BD. Burton Port's jumping cost him, but him and the winner look to be top class. Pity Weapons Amnesty is injured. |
By:
..ran his*
By:
Never jumped, maybe he needed the prep run up the North.
By:
Burton Port would have won but for a terrible mistake at the cross fence. Nobody on channel 4 picked up on this. Thought Gearghty was disorganised at that cross fence. Fair play to Daryl Jacob a decent jock.
By:
Geraghtys ride on Secret World in the 1st was worse. Took him a mile to get the horse relaxed.
By:
admittedly burton port made a bad mistake 5 out. but it did not cost him victory. the winner had more there if needed. 2 fantastic young prospects, no doubt about that.
By:
Tony tis nearly time you should consider retirement from horses if you think Geraghty was bad on the first fav.
By:
maybe wonky can give us his insight into yesterday's proceedings...
By:
Paramount that he got horse settled. Couldnt. Lost.
By:
no nooooooooooooo wonky cannot answer a very simple question. not a bit of it. i only asked a very simple question but it was obviously too technical for the forum fool.....

About yesterday. I think the old guards time has been and gone in the Champion Hurdle and Gold Cup.
Very happy to take on Binocular in future, and regardless of his brave effort, Denmans not getting any better. He could be placed come March but not winning. The time was considerably quicker than last years on similar ground. Burton Ports effort must have Weapons Amnestys connections pulling their hair out. Would have been my idea of the GC winner. |
By:
Binocular needs an end to end gallop and can be opposed until he gets these conditions. He has a live chance in the champion though.
By:
Binoculars no doubt better than Saturday, but how good is he? Last years CH form is open to debate at this stage. Solwhit and Go Native never ran a race.
Saturdys winner jumped quicker than last year and looks a winner of a racehorse. He`s uncomplicated and I could see him outbattling the rest up the hill. The way he responded to a couple of cracks and ran straight to the line was an attitude reminiscent of old Hardy Eustace imo. Proper racehorse. Dunguib could come back into the frame as would our big guns but I`ll be sticking with Peddlers Cross. ![]() |
By:
Bincular at his best in big field with a quick clip & undulating track.
Plenty of "sharp minds" on here laying from for the CH at his current price!! ![]() Age profile of the "Big 3" in the GC suggests their colours will be lowered come March; having said that, Denman is a certainty to place on Saturday's heroic performance off 11-12 vs 160-rated star novices from last year...massive EW value at his current price. |
By:
PS Giant Stirdes:-
Dunguib needs an plethora of schooling before he can be even considered a CH contender. In addition, given his FF win; [and indeed, Menorah's Greatwood victory], neither currently represent win market backing value. Just have what ya like on Starluck over Xmas when he goes the other way on an even flatter track in the Xmas Hurdle. |
By:
^ given his FF win i.e. Peddler's Cross.
