Race 1) Sailors Warn. The usual suspects taking each other other again. This one will learn from a debut 3rd in Mallow a month ago.

Race 2) Leanne. Willie Harney's mare did this column a good turn a month ago in a similar race at Clonmel and she is taken to follow up.

Race 3) Zaidpour. (NB) Willie has waited a long time to unleash this potential super star. A half brother to Zaynar he demolished the opposition on his debut at Punchestown a fortnight ago and is taken to remain unbeaten.

Race 4) Jessie's Dream.(E/W)Timmy Murphy travels over to take the ride for his retaining Owner. As a second season novice he is the value to follow up a Galway win on ground that was a bit fast. Thus the form of the race  hasn't been franked.

Race 5) Solwhit. It is worth taking a chance that fitness will sway this in his favour. Last season he did Hurricane Fly about this time of the season at Punchestown.

Race 6) No selection. As I am in hospitality in the corporate area I will tuck into the Sambo's and Cocktail sausages. Norn and DAS and the lads will put up a selection no doubt.

Race 7) Tom Horn. (Nap) This one is a winner without a penalty. Nina looked all over a winner LTO at Navan and with hindsight she may have kicked on rather than waited. The experience gained that day will help too.

Let's hope the meeting goes ahead.

Race 3) Zaidpour (nap) - Everything i've been told about him suggests he is a star in the making and he would want to win to be justifing those claims. Takes this on the way to hopefully winning the Neptune at the festival.

Race 4) Mikael D'Haguenet (nb) - Was told he schooled brilliantly on his racecourse gallop the other week so hopefully he will get away with his inexperience. Looks an outstanding prospect who will hopefully take this on his way to much bigger things.

Race 5) - big fan of Hurricane Fly but can't back him here against Solwhit who has race fitness over him. Will just watch on

PROSPECTS of Fairyhouse's top-class card taking place on Sunday look bleak after snow and freezing temperatures overnight,
There are cars abandoned on the roadnear the track, so bad did conditions get," said acting Fairyhouse manager Peter Roe.

"We are monitoring things very closely and will call an official inspection early today [Saturday], but I'd say there's little chance racing will go ahead.

Good contribution by Satellite Flight as usual but is not current form of Willie Mullins runners a big concern? Probably all academic now as even Thursday's re-fixture must be doubtful.
