What will we do when heroin gets hereLaugh. Joking really meant to be getting really bad in the midlands and rural areas, it can tear communities apart. Read a book by a girl from inner city dublin called dying to survive, most harrowing book i ever readSad

yes longterm problem in dublin..really bad in Cork & limerick city...with travellers selling it in every town and village up and down the country as the travellers cocaine sales have reached saturation levels in most counties...the leniancy of the judges has a lot to answer for too..

Leniancy has nothing to do with it, its only runners who are addicts themselves who are getting caught with the goods they will take the risk of getting locked up for 20 years if they get a fix out of it.

A large contaminated batch of heroin would solve a lot of problems in this country.

Alcohol is causing loads of problems but heroin causing thousands of muggings, burgularys etc each day...is it any wonder tourists are turning their back on this crime ridden island

cannabis should be legalised and heavily taxed (nap)

it's use is widespread anyway , it should be considered strongly, huge taxable income,  could be grown here and create lots and lots of jobs, and also could be exported to countries where it is legal.

plus it would take out the huge part of the crime lords incomes.

No laughing matter scooby...you might have a point irish-guy...still think any herion dealer should face capital punishment

heroin is a different matter altogether, judges are clueless to it's affects.

cannabis not even in the same  league or anywhere near it. it should be strongly considered. tourism would benefit hugely also.

this country should legalise all drugs ,going forward the "stoner economy" would encourage many other counter culture economic activities like tatoo parlours ,shroon snacks ,space cakes, kaften retailing and er ...crafts
our first mover advantage can then  turn us in to the  drugs HUB  of europe and our fiscal problems will be just a bad memory or a hazy recollection of a bad trip even
