BJG O Grady's form would hardly inspire one..... read his quote on Osana before the Down Royal race and clearly he's not happy wth his string....
Hughes in the bumper flew home lto....will watch market |

Derinlaur (E/W) has had two quiet runs after a lengthy break. If he is ridden a bit more prominently I can see him go close.

Even though shot from the Hip will be hard to beat I can see him goin off 4/6 or something silly. One which mite be a good each way bet is hughe's Frisco Depot. He was far from disgraced lto when 3rd.The winner that day looks a nice horse while start me up who was 2nd has proved expensive to follow he still sets an ok level.Fists of fury might well be noted if its a market mover but he may well improve in handicaps 2.15 all the attention will no doubt be on staying article.Won his bumper when possibly unfancied in v impressive style. The likely 2nd fav in Rivage D'Or may well be starting to look exposed but still warrents respect. His 2nd over 2m behind smack that isnt that bad form but kinda alarming seeing him dropped back down to 2m again.IMO if Rivage d'or goes off like the clappers Forty foot tom might be in the places. 3.15 Jack bene wasnt far off lto and should well improve.Minella special could well improve under rules but no bet in this race for me 3.45 I quite lalso won ntoike he's a delight here.No bad horse wins 3 p2p and his bumper form when 3rd behind dylan ross who has since bolted up again and has been well touted by meade. The 2nd also won nto.Jockey take soff 7 and should be a solid ew gl guys |

Tricky stuff so not sure I'll be getting too involved in the card but Kid Curry 2.15 and Well Insured 2.45 ( pref for the latter ) might be a bit of e/w value.
Good luck all |

Kid Curry took my eye in the Paddock in Naas two weeks ago and thought he's be a hell of alot better with a few hurdles infront of him..... Meade was upbeat in his stable tour about him also
"We really fancied him on his first start when he finished third but he was beaten by a very good horse that day in Hidden Cyclone, who has since won impressively over hurdles. He didn’t run as well as we expected, though, and we thought it might have been the good ground. He ran at Navan last week, but it probably came a bit too soon for him and now we’re convinced he wants really soft ground. He has schooled well over hurdles and he should develop into a pretty decent novice. He’s better than he’s shownso far and is definitely one to watch" |

Naas on Wednesday, and there has been some support for Charles Byrnes, Oar House in the opening contest at 1.5. The mare has shown very little to date, but the Limerick trainer is well able to improve them, and Bet365(10/1-9/1) and Powers(9/1-7/1) have both seen money for the mare. The 9/1 is now the best price available. Frisco Depot looks the safe eachway bet in the maiden hurdle at 1.45, and punters have latched on to the Dessie Hughes inmate. All the 6/1 has been snapped up(Powers and Stan James) and the best on offer is now 5/1 with Boyles and Ladbrokes. While Shot From The Hip is undoubtedly a better horse, he may just need the run on this testing ground, and punters are siding with Frisco as the safe play. Shahrafi has seen eachway support in the handicap hurdle at 2.45. As big as 8/1 earlier, 13/2 with bet365 is now the best price available with the major firms. Star Neuville has been all the rage in the concluding bumper. Bet365 went 7/2 early but that didn't last long. Most of the 3/1 dried up as well, and Ladbrokes are the only firm still holding that price.

1.45: the sort of race would nearly make ye feel sorry for the poor old bookies... all the money for the experienced horse, 5s to 11/4... did McNamara on the (uneasy) fav know you can hit them behind the saddle? not once did he smack the horse - can only be called not trying
|
|
By:
I woulndt be too worried with that horse, didnt put it into teh race at all, wait for firmer ground. He'll win a nice prize in the spring yet
no good though if you steamed into the 6/4, but mcmanus tends to be quiet this time of year |

Shaggykev, let's not make a scene here. Just move along and get back to work.

Staying Article back to lay. Gnd a worry, but should be good enough to trade short, and has had a run in the recent past.

Well done The Gotchee on the first winner, has peanuts on e/w after I saw he jumped off in front (Just got in before no more bets in spoils). Cheers.

Rivage D'Or is a truly scandalous animal.

Davy could have kept the brakes on for another furlong at least to get home, the horse had way too much time to think about dogging it.(I didn't back it)
