Am I missing something.Doonbeg must be the bet of the weekend at 6/4. Can't understand how all bookies have the waterford side favourites.Obviously they all just copy each other.

stradbally are a good bet, sorry to disagree with you.doonbeg are a poor enough side.a pale shadow of the great team of the 90s.they were very lucky in clare.brick walsh is back to a team that were very unlucky not to beat kilmurry last yr(missed peno etc).my one bet of weekend is stradbally!

Spoke to a friend of mine. Told me Stradbally were very poor this year. Very lucky to win a poor county final where most scores were from frees. Last years interm. champions drew with them in the semi in another low scoring affair. Also they lost a few games in the league section. Clare's clubs have always fared well. This Stradbally side have been around for too long and will only win if it is a low scoring affair.

the clare final this year was the worst in living memory.and there were fair bad ones to chose from.strad -1 at 10/11 is the bet for me.but i wouldnt stop you backing doonbeg.i just fancy strad if they are serious about it.the winner has the dubious honour of nemo in the semi!!maybe an honourable one point defeat is the best result for either team?

Kavvie you are obviously clare, Theref you Waterford? Amazing but people are either very pro their own clubs or very much against them truth probably somewhere in between.

Portlaoise have to be a bit of value against Kilmacud..11/8...the weather this weekend though will be a great leveller..could be a few draws ....the other thing that gets me anytime is the club hurling outright...oulart the ballagh favourites...how could any team from wexford be favs for any hurling event ...will they beat kk champs, loughiel and loughrea, thurles or de la sall if they reach final?

just went in there to odds checker timber,i was sure you made a mistake.!i find that very strange also.tho i was going to back oloughlin gaels earlier for leinster and a friend of mine from kkk said no that oulart were certs so i held off.rocket read ur post again.you say one thing and then completely contradict it?!?.noting the time of the post maybe you were out for a few pints??!!?

Oulart appear to have a lot of wexford players they'll need them all...what about bally boden's chances dublin chances 4 years in a row cant be that far off the mark?
Report kavvie November 6, 2010 12:24 PM GMT
dub hurling seems to have receeded a wee bit in last year?maybe its just me but they seemed to peak wen they gave kk a game in the 09 lein final...maybe im wrong..
Report timberman November 6, 2010 2:19 PM GMT
is club hurling stronger in dublin or wexford?...ie price ballyboden v oulart if they meet?

Thanks Kaavie. Would have lost more only for advice. Apparently Doonbeg were the better side, but couldn't score. Any fancies for next weekend?

hard know..i didnt like the look of kilmacud yest.id fancy rhode myself for leinster.they seem very intent on winning it.i have nemo backed at 3s for munster club and had a saviour on crokes at 6/4 so im looking ok there..i think doonbeg missed a lot of scores but strad were reasonably comfortable and were the better side im told..its hurling next weekend..de la salle mite be intresting
