Mark Farren it is.

Head Tumour came to light at the end of the 09 season & hasnt been at his best this year but still scored 20. 5 years ago he won  the league player of the year & despite being from Donegal he got adopted by the Randy-Brandywell! [:)]

It was a shock last week when news of his retirement broke after the match. Just a day previous there was a report about him closing in on Liam Coyle's record for record Derry City goalscorer. Amongst the team it was known however as he was subbed on 90 mins against Monaghan & shook hands with every team mate. The City players all wore Mark Farren t-shirts for the presentation.

At 28 (younger than myself) it is a hell of alot for any young man to deal with-never mind an athlete. all the best Mar(on the off chance you read this).
