Anyone interesting in this? Was thinking of starting it at Down Royal 1st week in Nov. Will modify the scoring from last yr - points for 1-2-3 per race. Irish trained horses only. Bonus points races etc.
But the main issue is money!! Last year we just had a miserable few quid from bf. Was thinking either 10 or 15euros per entry, 1 stable per person, would need to be enough interest though. Payment would be via paypal. I would gain no profit out of this, unless I win of course.
It will run til the end of the Nh season, and there will be sub periods, all the fine print will be detailed in advance.

Ok, these are last years rules, briefly amended.... probably need a few tweaks(bonus races?), and agreement on the transfer/sub periods! Open to suggestions......
Rules 1. One stable per person. 2. Each stable to consist of 10 Irish trained horses. 3. Competition to start... Down Royal Nov. 4. Closing date for entries... 5. Competition to end ... last day of Punchestown 2011. 6. A person can change their selection as many times as they want up to the start date of the competition; last selection before this date, or first after will then be taken as final. 7. Transfer period & Details tbc. 8. Points scoring: i. The points awarded were as follows: 25pts for winning a Grade 1 race, 12pts for 2nd, 6pts for 3rd. 20pts for winning a Grade 2 race, 10pts for 2nd, 5pts for 3rd. 15pts for winning a Grade 3/Listed race, 8pts for 2nd, 4pts for 3rd. 12pts for winning a Hcap race, 6pts for 2nd, 3pts for 3rd. 10pts for winning other races, 5pts for 2nd, 2pts for 3rd. ii.
