Ok terrible weekend for our national team but they need to pick themselves up and i for one can't think of a better place than away to Slovakia and who many considered just a few months ago as dark horses for the world cup. Anyway i think Trap makes a few changes we can get a result against them, i am betting Irieland in everything i can find win, handicap win and draw no bet. I think Ireland can get a result and cememnt their place back in the heart of the nation.

A 1-1 draw really appeals out in this one. We should create a few chances from set peices and long balls and surely take one of them over 90 mins but its hard to see us keeping a clean sheet as well.

Ireland will never be any good as long as the dubs are in domination.Roy Keane wouldnt tolerate them and he was right.Robbie Keane is a good example of a loudmouth in your face jackeen.If you want to see another classic example of the type of person i am talking about then tune into the Apprentice tonight and have a gander at the know it all dub on that.Now this is a real beauty

I'm not backing that up with money though. I do think we'll play much better, we generally do after a disappointment or when we're not expected to.

Glen Whelan and Robbie Keane are a disgrace, the panel don't like to slag off the Dubs on the team. Glen Whelan, his man may have been bigger but he was sound asleep at the back post, height was not what won that header anticapation was. Robbie Keane anybody can miss a peno, but you are a shambles.

1-1 would have been a good result before KO but strangely I'm dissapointed now. Pool still wide open,well done lads good response. Keane and Given getting no game time at club level is starting to show.
sadly for us robbie went missing 2nd half imo. gibson not the player people think though ....
dont mind dan giant , more used to the hurling is the lad , and gets confused .....

Robbie needs to move on club wise and lose some weight he looks sluggish. One can see why he can't get a game. Given our style, Long and Doyle look a better combo at the minute
The problem with the likes of Keane and Given is they are too greedy to swallow their pride, take a 50% paycut and move to clubs where they would get a game. Their more than happy to sit on their arses and watch their 70k-80k a week salaries piling up in their bank accounts
better performance thankfully.. still 2 points dropped. there is NO excuse for robbie keane missing those chances.. u can excuse fitness and touch being off.. hes a natural goalscorer ffs there is no excuse for it.
and if fahey doesnt start from now on i give up.. exactly wat we need cool as fcuk on the ball
2nd half performance was awful, impressed with mcgeady again though. Must have won a dozen free kicks and should have been motm.
did well to a point most frustrating is mcgeady final ball is whats it all about n he rarely delivers
