His ride on Misty For Me was the best I`ve seen all year.
Well positioned throughout then ridden turning in a Gr1 at Longchamp. Thats a long way from home against an unbeaten horse on the bridle. He`s not as consistent as he once was but that was Murtagh at his brilliant best imo. |

Heard at the racing reason hes going is because he lifted young joseph out of it for not doing what he was told,major bust up then ,how true that is i dunno thats the word anyways

Very harsh mp. What could he do from his wide draw? He probably wasn`t good enough and was nearly knocked over. If Smullen gets the gig it`ll signal the operations death knell imo.

They're hardly blaming him for the horses anyway. I don't see any horses or at least any important horses that he should have won that didn't this season.
Coolmore will just have to accept that they won't have champions every year. |

Complete rubbish to blame Murtagh for any poor performances this year. Most Ballydoyle inmates this year are average.
Fame and Glory is not good enough to win an arc. The campaigning of the horse this year was a complete give away imho. Has beaten rubbish all throughout the year, beaten in a listed race behind shes our mark. Winning a pi55 poor grp 2 and 3.....and 2 of the weakest grp 1s in europe this season. Another Soldier of Fortune. |

If Soumillon gets the job, Does that mean he'll live somewhere local. Imagine him on a night out in one of the following, Limerick, Clonmel, or Tipp town. It would be hilarious. On a serious note I'd be worried as to how well he'd acclimatise

me too but he is better than ur average jockey that has ridden in france;murtagh only had 1 year contract anyways and imo at last he is going[good jockey]but not the saint he paints himself

The more I think about it there will probably be no new stable number 1 (for 2011 anyway)- best available jockey will be used.
