You not watching? He's playing awful. All over the shop
Report Kelly October 1, 2010 10:14 AM BST
Apart from his round last Sunday ( a 64) he has played very poorly for over a year .  Lucky to get a pick in front of Casey .

Hopefully he rediscovers his game , but doing so in the wet ( and windy on Sunday ) not the best guess . And there has been a lot of guesswork in Padraigs game lately .
Report SatelliteFlight October 1, 2010 11:34 AM BST
should never have been picked ahead of either Paul Casey or Justin Rose, has played like a clown all year until that 64 last week, oh and the 10 eagles he got in practice according to Monty Laugh yeah right

g-mac playing great

pod should of said his game wasnt up to scratch--let casey in
Report Handsome Homer Simpson Plus 3 October 1, 2010 11:56 AM BST
i agree that pod was lucky to get a wildcard, casey did deserver it in fairness.

however harrington & donald are only on the 3rd hole and the americans started birdie/birdie in what are terrible conditions. i think it's too early to be saying he is playing awful, hit a poor tee shot on the first but more then half the players missed that fairway and still had a good chance of par and had birdie putts on the next two holes.

if they lose this match 5&4 and he hits it all over the place then you can say he is playing badly, not after completing 2 holes.
Report SatelliteFlight October 1, 2010 12:04 PM BST
not saying he has played badly today YET, he had played badly nearly all year

a winner again.
Report the jolly October 17, 2010 12:22 PM BST
great to see POD winning again.  Wasnt the strongest of fields but  a win is a win. Some clowns on here and particularly on the golf forum seem to take satisfaction from his troubles over the past year. as somebody said above, class is permanent.
Report Vubiant October 17, 2010 7:51 PM BST
Now that he has won with a 20 under par score .....will he be changing his swing again ?
Report Rowley Mile October 18, 2010 12:49 AM BST
Only plays well with a dodgy neck fact, that guy he calls his physio went missing too, often spotted giving podsie a headlock on the course.
Report Kelly October 18, 2010 12:12 PM BST
Away in Donegal last weekend , so missed this tournament .  Still a win is a win , no matter where .

Padraig has played well before in Asia , maybe the heat suits him .  Should help his world ranking too .
