Started following the horse after an old friend of mine had backed it for the Bnmper and became a real favourite, despite the fact that it failed to hit the heights again and never won me anything. Backed it numerous times despite them trying it on too soft ground, too long a trip; natch, he was pretty versatile. Didn't back him the last day when he won (was out and forgot he was running!) but was back on him today
Here's to Hairy Molly; a good old horse, he was.
Was very sad to see this.Started following the horse after an old friend of mine had backed it for the Bnmper and became a real favourite, despite the fact that it failed to hit the heights again and never won me anything. Backed it numerous times d
Cost me a fair amount at the time by beating off Pressgang in that bumper at Chelt. Pressgang also suffered a fatal fall at the beginning of last year if memory serves. Cruel game at times.

Dont know if anyone has the facts but my perception is that Killarney seems to be as bad as it gets for this.
Shay had been having bis best run for years too.

Like yourself grade1 - never seen more fatalities per fall like killarney over the past few days - i know it has a bit of a reputation, but i found myself wincing a couple of times every race. shocking stuff overall - and more of it today.

something has to be done about this track. too many horses careers ended through injury or death. 6 or 7 killed on one day last year. at least 4 this week.

Worse than Kilbeggan per se as Kilbeggan is all NH.
I was at Kilbeggan to see his last victory a fortnight ago. I had £2 sterling at 12/1 (BF) to pay for a pint or two down there.
RIP

Wasn't there a spate of these last summer aswell at Killarney, Pity about the horse, a few friends of mine backed him at Cheltenham, they were not big into the horses, we were just after finishing our mocks for the leaving, He paid for a right piss up that night. They'll be sad when they hear this.
