i think waterford will win, they are consistent without being great compared to tipp - they they could do anything today - they are inconsistent this year - its a sign they are under pressure. there are too many players underperforming - padraig maher and noel mcgrath have the so called second season syndrome - waterford will win in a low scoring game.

Tipp are inconsistent how? They played one bad game against Cork and have upped their performances in every game since.

I think Waterford can keep it close but there tactics of keeping their backline rooted in position ala the Cork games wont be as effective against Tipp larger pool of scorers

they cruised it against offaly but offaly were very poor that day. and another team might have put it up against them. ya i know you can only beat whats in front in front of you. the league means nothing at this time of year but there was a serious dip in form at the end of it and it drains players playing like they are.

Seems like a close to 50/50 game to me. Can someone explain the massive difference in price?

took on tipp at 1.45 - looks the value play, tipp will need to have a great start for this to shorten, early phase of the game will be tight and niggly............

Great effort by Dublin just fell short. Thought they panicked a bit at the end. 08-02 down midway through the first half they battled away great.

Well done John O'Brien.

Showed his class today in a Tipp jersey.

Noel McGrath was phenomenal in the first half. O'Brien outstanding. The Backs for Tipp were Men of the match though. Absolutely embarassed the Waterford fwds.

All in all the makings of a classic All Ireland final.

tipp looked well but i think its more to do with waterford tactics. cummins never had to puck a ball down on the tipp half forward line the area where there are getting cleaned the last 3 years. the best 2 teams in the final hopefully it will be another cracker again.

I thought noel mcgrath and corbett had blinders - corbett must of had a nose bleed back there late in the game. Great stuff. When will the refs cop on to john mullane, altho he did get caught a few times the amount of times hes on the way down to the ground before getting contact is unreal. He must of got 2/3 tipp players booked for **** yesterday. Then the helmet came off and the toys came out of the cot. Cop on you egit.
