Poor old Shefflin, he only has a bucket load of All Ireland medals to his name at all levels, my heart bleeds for him that he won't be playing in the final!!

Take it u have never played sport donal? I know i would hate to miss any match never mind an all-ireland final no matter how many of them i had won. Im pretty sure anyone who has played sport feels like this.

Pretty brainless response from the last poster,whether or not he has 20 medals shouldnt make any difference,because Shefflin is truly one of the all time greats at this game.He must rank right up there with Ring,Doyle,Rackard,Mackey,Kehir and a few others that i'm afraid escape me.For me hurling has lost alot of its appeal due to the dominance of Kilkenny,as when the result is not in doubt,it makes it so much more difficult to enjoy.The one positive for people watching the current cats is that you know you are witnessing hurling at its finest played by propably the best exponents of playing it at pace of all time.The absence of the best player on the team makes the prospect of going to the All Ireland that little bit less appealing.

Being from a great rival County of Kilkenny and experiencing how annoying and arrogant their fans are and have been for the last five years, I will actually cry with happiness the day those pricks eventually get bet!!!!!!!!
Sure anyway they have a whole bench that can replace him and that was proven when Martin Comerford came on for him and played just as well as Shefflin would have, Richie Power who took over free taking duties didn't miss one either, so nothing to worry about for Kilkenny fans they will get their five in a row and God knows how many more with or without him!! |

Donal- Unfortunately nowadays Kilkenny dont have any rivals,certain counties may well imagine that they are rivals,but realistically they are just fodder to them on their way to picking up yet another title.If you had the pick of every county in Ireland,they couldnt come up with a selection to trouble this crowd such is their superiority nowadays.
Would anybody come up with a player from another county that would get on the current Kilkenny team,maybe Joe Canning would,or possibly a Tipperary man.Certainly no way in the world would a player from any other county come next nor near getting a smell of getting any where near the team. |

So Donal you will cry with happiness when those pricks get bet!!! why do you refer to sportsmen as pricks!! its not thier fault that they produce wonderful displays every time they go out on the field.these guys will be back in thier Parish fields club hurling this Thurs/Fri nite,this is the system that this county board has in place and has created the skillfull hurlers they are.No Donal far from pricks they are,and so where will your county players be this Thurs/Fri nite,,at home head scratching again,Donal,back now to your rabbit hole and close the door behind you so you cant post disgusting messages like those above you sad little man.

OK they are not all p****s but alot of them are, I've heard numerous stories about them, they think they are small Gods walking around with everyone licking them! My point from the beginning is that I dont have any sympathy for Henry Shefflin, he already has a bucket load of medals and he will get another one even though he is not playing in the final. He will be back next year and the year after that and probably the year after that!!! So poor auld Henry I think not!!! |

this donal could be one of the other posters that people stopped replying to in disguise..hes only joined since may so i would have my suspicions..my view on kk as an offaly man is that they are the greatest hurling team of all time.they sail close to the wind at times but its a pleasure watching them over the last 10 yrs.they make everything look so simple when its far from that.and henry shefflin is the greatest hurler of all time.and i feel sorry for him missing what will be a history making occasion.but im sure he will be back for the 6 in a row!!
