Every course in Ireland has to have Yielding in the going description. One of these days I'll understand what the phuck Yielding ground actually is?

I suppose you didn't consider the very obvious rail movements before you posted this thread? Do your homework.

Two in the net.
On a serious note, electronic times at the Curragh are notoriously poor. I can't explain why, they just are. I havent handtimed the replays yet but its worth checking. A friend of mine spoke to Ted Walsh after he walked the track a few hours before racing and he told him that he thought it was "on the easy side of good". Theres every chance it dried out as the day progressed, but usually they will change it if enough riders report it as riding quicker than reported. Not an exact science I know |

Times were near enough standard. That in my book is good ground. Nevertheless I was surprised to hear Michael Halford say that Snaefell appreciated the ease in the ground despite clocking 1 10 odd beating standard!!
