I think this is one of DKW's to oppose , it is far too short , could be eating to my words but have followed through with a decent lay

that is shocking. suspicion they only did that because they nearly but didn't (and maybe should have) thrown out one yesterday. colm o'donoghue did nothing wrong. will be reinstated on appeal (NAP).

Yesterday Carberry was on the winner and a young lad of no influence was on the 2nd. Today it is the lad that should not even be allowed to be an apprentice, but is Aidan's son that is on the 2nd and he gets the race. |

Heard from a well informed source that Marnane won his appeal

Having considered the evidence the Appeals Body accepted that interference had occurred about 100 yards from the finish and that Separate Ways had taken the ground from Luttrell Lady. However, they were not satisfied that Separate Ways had improved his placing in relation to Luttrell Lady and as a result they ordered the original placings should stand thereby reversing the decision of the Galway Stewards.
The result now reads: First : Separate Ways Second : Luttrell Lady |
