You really do fill this forum up with some inane stuff, fishing or otherwise (and your grammar and spelling in this thread suggests it may have been alcohol-fuelled in this instance). Can you not just go and post on some GAA forums, where people might actually want to debate this stuff with you? I don't understand your constant need to slate the GAA here, it just beggars belief that you need this fix in your life. I try not to read your pointless threads, but the odd time I click one by mistake or in this case because I am going to the Galway races myself and thought it might be a genuine question. I read this forum a lot less than in the past because of you and I'm sure I'm not the only one (and I couldn't care less about the GAA or the FAI in all honesty). Can you stop punishing people who just want to read and contribute to the forum constructively? I'm sure the answer is no, but no harm in asking. |

Just to clear up other potential confusions for Workrider. If he decides to join the gambling throng at Cork for the day, he should go to Mallow, and likewise a excursion to Tipperary requires going to Limerick Junction. Simple really.

To be fair to workrider, he has a point here. Galway playing in the Leinster Championship is nonsensical. Surely at this stage the provincial championships are a mere anachronism. I'm not sure what the solution is, but surely an open draw, or, alternatively, a 'champions league' style format would be preferable to the current situation.

Workrider/Rocketfingers I am 100% sure this will be news to you but Israel is not in Europe. So when you are on the phone to the GAA you should ring your beloved FIFA and inform them of this fact. At least Galway borders Leinster, another fact no doubt that will be new to you.

Huddys, different versions of that situation happen in all sports. Take even the present World Cup for example, Switzerland beat Spain yet the Swiss are now sitting at home while Spain could go on to win it.
