Paraguay v Japan doubt this is going to be a classic. If Paraguay could reproduce the kind of display they showed against Slovakia they will win here. However on the other hand they where very negative against Italy and New Zealand 2 games they should of been winning!!
Japan beat Cameroon in their 1st game which was no great feat but they probably didn't deserve that win. They then did well against a Dutch team only losing by 1 but they seemed in 1st gear that day. In their last game against Denmark there was nothing between the teams until 2 set pieces changed the game.
Paraguay are a rugged team who are very tough to break down but can play some nice football when the mood takes them. Japan on the other hand are well organised and going forward have some individuals who can hurt you.
Here i will have a smallish bet on Paraguay (had they been playing Denmark i would of been unloading)
Spain v Portugal hopefully will be a great game but not many Portugal games these days are. They are very solid in defence and rely a lot on Ronaldo to do some magic up the other end. Spain have shown glimses of the play that won them the last Euro's but they have not done it enough in this competition yet. In todays game i see Spain have a huge amount of possesion and if they stay patient i see them breaking Portugal down. It will be close but i see Spain winning by the odd goal

Thinking Japan are too big at 3s, but maybe were flattered by their set pieces?
Unders(2.5) Spain game, Portugal have only scored in the one game, and think that scoreline is making the market here - think it will be 2-0 Spain. |

Porugal to progress,I like nothing about Spain, Ronaldo will crucify ramos today, goin with portugal win 1-0, Carvalho setpiece also looks very appealing and their marauding full back will also cause Spain problems. This is a epic clash

great result for you on sat night i see , well done i'd say you were worried down the back straight , the queen looked as if see might pick her up but in all fairness the winner styed on well .

yeah was a nice result for me, would of been very unhappy had she been picked up. The night was a bit of a bloodbath for most there though, some shocking results. I had a lump on Blazers Black @ 7/1, he turned 2nd and looked a 1.01 shot but basically seemed to just totally stop chasing  funny old game at times |

i was in cavan for the w/e so missed it , both my lads were there they had their player of the year do , one of them made about 70 euro the older one made zilch and was not a happy bunny sibling rivalry eh

Spain absolutely Just giving the ball away sloppily, allowing themselves to be
swallowed up countless times, a bit of the Arsenals about them, need to be a bit more direct. They to think a bit better, it's no good just passing it 10 yards this way and that way 25 times when Villa is making good runs out the left, they just turn back and hold on to it again. Villa is lethal coming from outside but they'd prefer to ignore this runs to where he can receive it and recycle it until they lose it. Busquets is a terrible player. I think he's got himself into trouble more times than he's used the ball. Alonso bypassed Portugals midfield to find Iniesta in space.....it took them 40 minutes to do something like that. Portugal are a long ball set piece team, get Sivla on, Busquets off and move it wide. |

Busquets is a liability. It was his fault there (the chance just there when
Casillas punched it). He gives it away unbelievably sloppily in some crazy position. Looks slow too. |
